HOLY HELL! dude do yourself a favor and take the sub out of the box. burn the box. and build one to spec and get the 500 watt alpine monoblock amp! weve got that setup at work and it knocks our dash kits off the shelf and rattles all our workbenches. thats a disgrace to type-r's, not my favorite sub at alll but they can do much more work then that

@o3485793847563 ha alpine amp? what he has is way better then an alpine. To me that looks like a JL Audio 500/1 which puts any Alpine amp to shame. Oh and you may not have an air leak, it may just be the turbulence of the air off the baffles on the inside. Always a good idea to round the corners with a router where ever there is air flow. just my opinion.
