So, the bailout scenario caused a lot of folks to realize that it matters where their money goes, and once they become aware of that, they will not be investing in the stock market.

The DOW is not the market, obviously. It can tank, but it does not necessarily mean the economy is doomed. It may mean that THEY are doomed.

I think people have about had it with criminal monopolies.

Now folks will start saving and investing in themselves. Which is what they should have been doing all along.
