  • hy .. Gix i want to ask you

from where did u download the contents :?

  • @RusnacProduction I didn't. It's packaged in a DVD that is sold to stores. I don't think there's another (legal) way to get those mods for the PC.

  • My favorite way to make money is alchemy is to make fatigue potions at the main ingredient. buy like a apple and pumpkin for like 6gold and sell for 11 (if u have novice alemby contort etc) and i know 5gold wow but think about liek 20. 20X5=100gp

  • Anyone moticed the Skyrim logo on the doors of the imperial city? Bethesda has planned Skyrim for a long time;)

  • 2:36 its called darkscorn hollow

    i have it too

  • yes i know who you're talking about.

  • It's very interesting to watch how you play this game, far more methodical than I.

    '

  • you are boring and geekish moogleftw is onehundred times better

  • I don't think any one goes to that other dungeon when you get out of the Sewers, I know I had that same feeling of "I just got out of the sewers, time to get some sun"

  • It's great to watch a commentary of someone who actually believes in total immersion.

  • Shady Sam! :D

  • You, sir, have inspired me to make a mage character and I also now want to try a thief! Thank you!

  • hey gix are you gonna do dark brotherhood missions?

  • "Lady I'm not here for your local drama, I'm here to shop."

  • Shady Sam! That douch bag thinks he has something 4 you! No, im just kidding... I don't have a problem with him.

  • I already knew about him i was running around the walls one day

  • Shady sam

  • Does anyone notice the dragon emblem on the door on 4:19 and the emblem for Morrowind are the same as Skyrims?

  • @TheDamnedPanda Of course! It's pretty much the logo of the series.

  • @gixG17

Has anyone mentioned the reference to WC3/WoW at the beginning of the video?

    Maybe it wasn't intentional.. :)

  • @TheDamnedPanda It has been used since Morrowind. It is the TES logo.

  • Fallout got a BIG inspiration from this.

    am i right?

  • @UltimateDevilKing it was made by the exact same people using a near identical system ...so...yeah.

fallout 3 at least. although I loved it, Fallout New Vegas was made by a developer with a history of making sequels that don't quite capture the same greatness of their predecessor, and tend to have a LOT of bugs....i.e. Fallout New Vegas

  • Lol your goin to shady sam

  • the vile lair is awesome! cuz u can cure vamiprism in it

  • What's the Bloodstained Note from?

  • @roman11777 the viles lair expansion

  • "I wont give that price to just anyone."

"Of course not, I'm the only one here who can shop."

    LOL

  • I think there should be a restoration spell that repairs items.

  • He sell skoma

  • lol I love this: Blah blah blah Thorinir..."Lady I'm not here to hear about your local dramas, I'm just here to shop"

  • Hello again, gonna start again and I wonder, what's the name of your mod when a message doesn't pop up? thank you

  • @qustav37 "Message Pop-up Remover"

  • For damage health poisons: Sacred Lotus Flowers in the pond (where the talos plaza door in the market district is) then Nightshade for the Main Ingredient :)

  • ok whats the best noob weapon for morrowind?? please answer back just got morro i have tes 1,2,4 just got 3 lol

  • he really should of gone into that dungeon in the beginning theres a lot of welkynd stones

  • Shady sam :)

  • i wouldnt exactly know how to do it but you may...Do you know if you can poison blades on morrowind as you can on Oblivion? I have an Assassin/Ninja Character I decided to make from pure love of TES and Stealth.

  • @GamingGod34 Unless there's a mod that I'm not aware of, Morrowind can't have poisons on blades. As far as I'm aware, the only thing you can do with poisons is drink them.

  • @gixG17 Yeah I happened to see that earlier when I was goofin around....Lets say a level 1 Wood elf Should not drink poison unless he has high health.... Alright thanks for taking time to answer that. I shall begin looking at that.

  • @GamingGod34 You can poison weapons. Just for 1 hit.

  • rust dagger give your enemies tetnis the will all die!!!!!!

  • Hey gix you should go to cheydinall there is a dark elf there who sings a funny song he should be on one of the islands which connect the bridges

  • message to all fallout 3 and elder scrolls fans if you want so we can discuss the games add me on xbox 360, my gamertag is RightNutProdigy...haha and i hope i can make some conversations on New vegas! thanks.

  • This just feels more like Shady Sam, you go, he is farely hidden and outside the city... The only one I know is Shady Sam. Also thanx for making different elder scrolls videos, you really gave me interest in the whole series. Oblivion I notice, is very smooth, I mean the environment and how things move, very nice work.

  • The poison seller! I knew from the beggining!!! :D

  • Haha, Shady Sam. He's my go-to skooma dealer.

  • Not really, NPCs can shop. But only if their AI was set that way when they were created. :p

  • ahh of course this mysterious person is out friendly neighborhood drug deal such a kind fellow

  • hey Gix, quick question i still have the same computer and Geforce 7800gt i had when oblivion came out and I'm just wondering would you recommend from a "playability" point of view would you recommend using Bloom settings or HDR? I ask this because i want decent performance (preferable staying at a minimum of 30 fps) but i dont want to sacrifice too much beauty either and i dont know how much hdr will affect performance in various areas (indoors, highly forested areas, planes of oblivion, etc)

  • @oblivionfan12345 Your computer doesn't take that much of a hit with HDR enabled. It allows for better viewing of the textures when you have both light and dark areas simultaneously on your screen.

I would even say that it helps performance because it adds a fade effect to the grass... allowing you to drop the grass view distance (something that really kills frame-rate) and not have them "pop".

  • @gixG17 alright gix, thanks a million :)

  • @gixG17 Did hear a wc3 reference?

  • @JustinSeizure YES! Thank you for noticing it!

  • @JustinSeizure whats wc3?

  • @nividicus Warcraft 3

  • @JustinSeizure oh thx i've never heard of that b4 i thought about that and got world of warcraft for some reason.

  • @nividicus Hahaha xD How surprising.

  • GIX STAY OUT SIDE OK.

  • Are you talking about Shady Sam? I got lucky and stumbled upon him when I first got the game.

  • @35g70 same here lol. Never found him again though but I never really looked xD

  • Why thumbs down my comment? It was only a joke. Not making fun in anyway, you don't have to be his defender. Even though it wasn't offensive.

  • my first time i got outsided it was raining

  • How depressing lol.

  • Is the download content only available on the PC version?

  • You can get DLC's for console versions, but I dont think there is a way to get mods (not that you need them)

  • The deep err Frostcrag err spire xD

  • Also, Gix, as far as Personality goes, by mastering Illusion and using powerful Charm spells you can pretty much get almost as good a deal on bartering as if you mastered Speechcraft and Merchantile.

  • If you plan on playing Stealth as a pure mage it should be possible. I beat the DB and Thieves' Guild with a Battlemage. Mastering Illusion and using Chameleon 100% pretty much guarantees you are undetectable. Mastering Alteration for unlocking spells and Mysticism for Telekinesis makes for a powerful wizard thief.

  • @Pilaf1984 huh thx ill try tht out :)

  • you should get the bank of Croydill mod i seems useless but for 50 gold you can open an account and for every 1000 gold you put in you get interest to get more gold and for 250 gold you can get a non re spawning chest for storage it's really neat

  • I keep the ingredients sell

    potions ands poison more money

to buy ingredients and repeat more

    money,alchemy,mercantile and

    we know its SS.

  • When I wrote this message I guessed that you were talking about Shady Sam :D but I'll see in 5 seconds when I keep watching.

  • nice vids

  • how could you not know about shady sam (i think is his name) i found him within my first 20 minutes outside the sewers

  • damn sucks how TES III is gone and your talking about TES V???

  • i always go to the main ingredient

  • 007

  • Hey Gix, do you plan on ever doing a LP of TES V after it comes out? It'll probably take a pretty good video card to run.

  • That'd be pretty fun, I would most likely have to turn some graphics down, though... but yeah.

  • TES V?!??!

Do you know if it will have more open-endedness

like werewolf virus or more DB quests?

  • hard to tell until it comes out. Maybe you can find it on google?

  • All I found was wish lists on forums for TES V

  • FRESH AIR !!! FINALLY !! :D

  • Hey gix, I can give you help with ingredients that will restore your magicka, I wont say them now, cause I don't wanna spoil anything if you would rather found out yourself.

  • i am also up for hearing new recipes for alchemy :)

  • "It's a beautiful day, why would anyone want to go inside"?

Are you forgetting we're gamers? ;-)

  • Oh hell, I'm strictly talking about in-game, obviously :P

  • are you talking about the shady dealer who sells poisons and ingredients for making poisons?

  • I wouldn't ever buy lotus seeds, considering you can walk into any imperial city district with water and find them.

  • Thanks again for posting your nice, entertaining and informative videos.

  • are u talking about the shady dealer?

  • As always, I love your LP's Gix! I'm still working my way through your Morrowind LP, hopefully you can get it working again soon!

  • Lol, I remember the first time I played Oblivion. I was an idiot and missed the path between the prison and the market district, and decided to hug the left wall of the city. I see this guy with no business standing there standing there, and I have a chat with him. I remember hearing myself say, "Huh. Wonder what skooma is.." I quickly found out it wasn't good.

  • Your character moves so fast it feels like he is riding a bike. If that's running, he sure is running very smoothly.

  • Dammit! I always shop at Thoronir's.

  • The one thing that I have to complain about when it comes to Oblivion is that you cannot get a boat.

    THAT'S IT.

It would be awesome to be able to buy a boat and sail around the seas.

  • problems you would come across with that.

    1. bridges

    2. there's only one "open" waterway but that only covers the southwestern hemisphere of tamriel.

    3. for you to "sail around the seas" this game would have to be so big you would have to have the most advanced computer as far as memory and ram goes to play it

  • I mean, I think that if they have magicka and the ability to create potions to harm one's health, the technology is advanced enough to create draw bridges, and the Vikings were able to make a ship perfectly able to sail around large rivers and lakes. All they'd have to do is make the lakes and rivers bigger and shit. I mean, that would make the need for memory and RAM a lot larger, but it'd be worth it. Also, don't forget the possibility for Naval Battles, and better ways to escape Guards.

  • making potions and poisons has been around since thousands of years before christ, before the invention of the boat, and while they do hav eboats during this time they would not simply rent one out to or let you buy one. boats were restricted to the use of the legion and other army's, the best boat you would have would be a little dinky rowboat at best that moves at about 3 miles per hour which the guards can swim at that speed around since the days of

  • Well, you see, this is a land of magical beings. I'm sure we could rig the slowest boat to be as fast as a black horse, and the fastest to be...pretty fast.

  • It all very well, but you could buy boats in Daggerfall.

  • Actually, you wouldn't need to have more memory to have such a thing. The way the Oblivion (and Morrowind) engine works is that it only loads nine pages of territory at once and changes which ones are loaded as the player moves. This gives the illusion of constant terrain. There are some other tricks, but that's the basics.

What the real limit is involves the world coordinates of objects; if you go too far from the origin, errors in floating point numbers begin to add up and you get jitter.

  • what i wounder about oblivion is how does they know your goods is stolen or not? that always make me wonder.

  • Maybe they all are FBI agents? o.O

  • @gamebugfinder cause of the red handicon around it when they take it lol jk...hpmh i wonder.....

  • Oblivion have not so good graphics (for today's standards) but general ambience, colours and music are so soothing

  • In my opinion (emphasize that part), the only parts of Oblivion's graphics that aren't so good are the lighting effects. They make everything look like they're made of shiny plastic, which is not unusual in 7th generation games. Well, the faces are a bit ugly too.

  • not a good graphics?

    I dont think so :D

    I have GeForce 9600 512mb DDR3

and with antialiasing 16xQ and HDR ot is lagging a bit in some places...

I would say that it has GREAT graphics notice that this game was released 4-5 years ago...

  • yeah, TESV is coming out in 2010, I expect much better graphics and a good mechanics system like oblivion

  • It wasn't made using today's technology.

  • Ah, i guess you ghonna go to.. Yeah exactly, some sweet poisons over there outside the wall.

  • Comment removed

  • Sweet mercy thats bright after the sewers
