Many belive SS2 is abandonware but thats just plain wrong and should be purchased legaly. :o

No, it does NOT matter anymore, since the game is not sold anywhere anymore.

I'm talking about sales that make profits for Irrational games, any copies you buy off of eBay/Amazon/Craigslist only make profit for the person you bought it from.

The platform this game was made for is almost unsupported by Microsoft, and by extension many hardware companies. Download it from a place like isoHunt while most of you can still play it!

Abandonware should be required by law to be made Open Source. They need to set up some kind of gov't branch that handles abandonware and hosting, or require companies to host the game's full source code for a certain number of days.

I believe that it is wrong to let great works like SS2 bitrot. For some baseless moral value? Please.

I've already downloaded a copy, and will play it soon. I hope you do as well if you do not already own the game.

Also in case you are going to rag on me being a pirate I just recently bought World of Goo and the Penumbra collection, even though both have have trackers for pirate versions on isoHunt.

A copy of World of Goo was purchased at exactly Jan. 18, 2010 09:01:18 PST, and Penumbra before then.

I wont rant on you because you pirate its your choice but you should be aware that there are still legal rights about SS2 and I wouldn't brag too much to download games.

If a game is realy that good you should do what you can to achive a legal copy. (Seriously its not that hard)

And force companies to host games for free? Do you even know what traffic loaded hosting cost? :P

Games just wouldnt go abandonware anymore companys would just keep the rights.

Back in med sci there's this ramp thing, you've been in the area before. If you get lots of agility, speed implant, and take a speed booster. Running up that ramp will send you flying into the ceiling killing you upon impact >_>

That ExperTech implant you dropped is quite handy when hacking stuff. -10% difficulty. You also could upgrade your stasis gun, if you want to keep using it. Not really necessary, however.
