What's actually interesting is Agnes Nixon didn't kill off Jenny (since Carol scolded her for it, albeit it in a funny way)...from 1983 to 1986, Wisner Washam wrote AMC on his own so Nixon could focus on "Loving" (and Nixon returned to head writing AMC in 1989)..and Jenny was killed off in 1984

It pisses me off that Oprah gets excessive coverage in the tribute, even though she has nothing to do with Agnes Nixon.

Just imagine where daytime would be without Agnes Nixon...she is such a legend and created two very successful soaps, AMC and OLTL (and I have been watching AMC for 18 years now..started in March/1991). Such a well deserved win!
