me and you need to meet up!!! i have a 96 grand cherokee with the 5.2l...i have some 33's on american racing wheels...but i need a lift so i can put them on...im from northbridge ma
@SlamPig84 hey! you can't please em all... Youtube viewers that is.!? I like a LOT of different types of music and I made this video multiple times (check my Brians4x4Life youtube site to see the same video with a TOOL song played to it.) I just thought this song was good at the time (cause it was all over the radio and I like it as well) and the fact that it says "I Made It" in the song lyrics. because I clearly Made it over everything I tried to get over. :)
@Brians4x4Life hey, im 17 and i want to make a jeep that can do this could you please tell me every thing i would have to do to the jeep to make it do this
@Brians4x4Life NO LOCKERS???!?!? thats amazing! stock gears right??? i have a 97 Cherokee my self, its awesome to see what they can do with a lift and some fat tires, have you considered regearing to like 4.56 gears? might be a little over kill for 33s but overall power will feel awesome again, great work!
your completely right mate. the song is awesome because its suited to this video. I HATE people who hate a video because of its music.... some like screamo, others like pop and some just want electronica. cant please them all as you say. Nice video and SICK jeep mate
this is nothing....this is what i go through every day in my stock cherokee sport to get up my drive way...I know you feel cool...but don't think you're amazing because you took your jeep up a dry creek bed.
@bluesguitarg its not how "cool" you think you are! its not how "big" you can go! a true offroad guy knows it just having good friends and your rig on a trail! "off road"!!!! Being "your driveway" or any place off road! In my opinion which i know does not matter dry creek beds are a blast! Keep it on the trails!
the last part of this vid with no music ur drivin up the trail, u can hear a clanging .... is that you front driverside coil hitting the frame ??? mine is frigin annoying .... every bump i hit you can hear my spring hit the frame ..... just wondering if its just my jeep or if other people are having the same problem !!!!
Hey Brian great rig. I just bought my 99 Cherokee Sport a week before christmas. Hoping to do some improvements myself. Prob will run 33x12.50 tires still havent decided between 3 inch and 4.5 long arm. Looking for the new General Grabber tires now just waiting to find a deal. BTW I subscribed to your channel hoping to see some more stuff from you soon. It inspires me... GREAT JOB!!
@bgdg300 lol because I like the sone A... and B I thought it went good because hey "I made it" :P lol thanks bro. I like all types of music I guess. its all good. ttyl B
damn good looking cherokee im planning on getting a 2001 then get about a 3.5 lift and 31 or 35 inch tires please comment if you have any suggestions []IIIIII[]
@RDKYJ88 ok asshole... i sold my 35's and bought 33's. i have a 4.5 rusty's kit. even with the rustys cut out flares i was still rubbin. 3 inch lift your not gonna fit 35's. keep dreamin.......
@deliveryboy1 ok guys calm down. I have done a lot of research on that and you Can run 35's even a little taller with 3-4" lift and cut flares. the only part your leaving out is the excessive bump stop height you have to use .
little to no uptravel, but if you have a long arm and a ton of droop it can be done.
@Brians4x4Life your def right.... i read your thing says your runnin 33's on 6 inches of suspension. friend of mine runs a 6 inch short arm, on his xj, same thing as me got rid of his 35's and opted for the 33's. the 33's still get my pumpkin close to 12 inches off the ground, i think...... id have to go check, but yea anyways......
@deliveryboy1 Sorry for coming off harsh, but you are saying something is "not gonna" happen when people are doing it everyday. I'm not saying what you are running is wrong, I'm just stating that going with more lift for bigger tires is not always needed. Keeping a low center of gravity is just as imperative as the clearance between your diff. and the ground. I have had two different cherokees, an 89 and 97, both on a rustys 3" lift, running 35s and 38s. Both with basic trimming and bump stops
@RDKYJ88 yea, tellin me to learn how to build my jeep was a little harsh..... stuffin 38's on 3 inches of suspension is impressive. do you use wheel spacers as well? a 38 inch tire is too big and too heavy for me. i like the 33's. i run swamper trxus mud terrains. i dont wheel often enough or hard enough to need a bigger tire. mostly moderate wheelin for me, my xj is also a daily driver, keeps me from hiking to my favorite fishin spots...
This is a shame, some friends and I were going to head up to Florida Road the same day you guys were there but we headed to Templeton instead. Would have been nice to see you guys out there.
@sourtwister19--- bdaddy23 is my other youtube account. I just posted it there as well so my bdaddy23 friends can see it as well because not all my friends are on my brians4x4life page.
@Brians4x4Life ahh gotcha!! hey i got a question.. how or where did you get those spot lights mounted.. is there something you can but and do it yourself er what?
@Brians4x4Life you can wheel good man esp. when you have stock open diffs it takes mad skills to do that. i like the setup on your cherokee and i see you have the trail rated symbol on it too? ha i have a cherokee also and planned to lift it sooner or later. []IIIIIIII[] thats for cherokee.
if your gonna make a offroad video play some fucking metal or at least some hard rock. not this pussy lil gayne bullshit.
nice xj tho
