I really enjoyed your video series. However, when I shared it with a friend, she told me the "Yod" cannot say "Yah." It has to say "Yeh." She came to this conclusion after listening to an audio by a Hebrew scholar.

The Hebrew scholar concludes that His name is Yehoweh. Can this be?

@Veggielina Remember, scholars arent always right.Just look at the scribes of Yahushua's day.What to do is break down the name by looking at the first 2 letters pronunciation.Then look at 3 letters pronunciation,and only then all 4 letters together.You will find 2 letters are pronounced YAH, as in HalleluYAH;ObadYAH. 3letters are pronounced always as YAHU as in MattithYAHU,YeshaYAHU,YirmeYAH­U.And 4 letters are pronounced YAHUAH. You are right about the meaning of Yeshua - which is Jesus, though this name is not actually mentioned in the Torah. Yehoshua is not the same person. Yehoshua is Hebrew for Joshua who was the 2nd leader of the Jewish people. He received the knowledge from Moses about the Torah & Oral Torah and was commanded to enter the Land of Israel and settle it, which he did. =)

The name of the branch is spelled Yod, Hey, Waw, Shin, Waw, Ayin in the Massoretic text. We know that Yod, Hey, Waw is always a direct reference to the Father! The Yod, Hey being rendered as Yah, the Yahu being found on the names of MOST prophets even in the Massoretic text. The changing to "Yeho" is man made, the modern "Hebrew" adapted the vowel markers for the language a little over one thousand years ago. YAHU is established! Hi I read Hebrew Torah I have never seen this word in there 'Yahushua' it does not appear at all its an 'Anglo hebraism'. Never spoken by the Prophets or the nazarenes. I hate finding out i have been lied too by people who can not read Hebrew.

Yeshua is in Scriptures but Yahushua is not! I have asked many people for a reference to this word Yahushua in Scripture but its not in the Hebrew. So its not a Hebrew name.

Note that Joshua here is the son of the HIGH PRIEST. Yet it is יְהוֹצָדָק (Jehozadak) who is the High Priest.

Since our Savior IS our High Priest before G-d and NOT the Son of the High Priest, Joshua could not have been His Name referred to in Zechariah 6:11.

They won't say his name properly in Israel there are rules and customs against speaking the name of the Father and therefore they have shortened his name out of the Son's name also.
