  • @ "challenge"......that is like trying to put out another's candle .....it does not make yours brighter. Love thy neighbor ..

  • If you want to truly know God I challenge you to devote yourself to prayer. Also, read the the Bible, for the Word of God and prayer are the two primary God-given means for building ourselves up in faith.Chanting syllables isn't going to connect you with God. It might connect you to something spiritual alright, but the not the kind of spirit you want to have a connection with. If you want to call upon a name that truly has power call upon the name of Jesus. In him alone will you find true peace.

  • There was one time i went camping in Yosemite. At night, i held my breath and made a long Hu. Somehow the sound attracted Mosquitoes and hundred of them flew out of control all over my head, they were almost trapped into my ears and nose...but the Hu must go on...:)

  • This is indeed a fantastic prayer that I have tried. I was in a room of people who we arguing and in agitation with each other. I just tried HU silently and the calmness I felt wa indescribable. In a few minutes, the room was calmer, people were talking in softer tone. It was indeed a transfrormation in front of my eyes. Thank you HU!

  • How come i've never heard of this HU? huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. ahahahaha.

  • ok serously what is "Hu"? is it like praying or meditating for some new religion? I Would'nt know because I'm christain :P

  • Hi darkgamer240 . Actually, it is used in Christianity but many are not aware of it. The word 'Hallelujah' is originally a conjunction of two words.. 'Alla' and 'Hu'. This was sung for thousands of years as a prayer. It slowly changed to Alla-Hu-ja (ya) and then to the commonly recognized 'Hallelujah'. It's a word that can be used by anyone in any religion to uplift you. Thus it allows us to see a situation in life from a higher point of view within ourselves.... a viewpoint of love.
