i had a 480 ES ltd edition same as 0.30 secs...had 2 tone turquoise and grey leather interior and auto box......absolutely beautiful it was......even had leather knobs on dash - the quality and detailing was amazing - wish id kept it.

btw at 2:02 is a 780, one of the most unusual Volvos, only 8500 were made and 450 of them were sold here in Sweden..

@coolakiIlen007 Only 8500? Are you sure of that? I've seen quite a few around where I live over the years and there are always at least 2 for sale at a time on eBay. I think just due to age, the 262C is a rarer car here in the US.

@palebeachbum yeah these models are more rare in Sweden than USA because most of those unusual models are sent to America. and yes 780 only made 8500st.. guess most of them are there in USA :)

the best Volvos was when it still was Swedish! pv, duett, amazon, p1800 were great models, have some childhood memories in a 245 too.. good cars.

C'est vrai, c'est sans doute une des meilleures vidéos de Volvo comme dit donmono80. La musique colle bien aux voitures des années 80. C'est un concours de danses de salon. Je rêve d'une 262C pour partager le garage avec une DeLorean. Histoire de faire une économie de budget entretien moteur, vu qu'elles ont le même. Merci à Pitcairn62 pour ce beau reportage. Je sais maintenant où trouver ma future VOLVO.

not really, Volvo were the safest vehicles during the 60s-90s. Better than american cars of the same era. Nowadays, the Volvo is aimed at the young family demographic

I had a 1976 Volvo 245 Mint Condition Bright Yellow Plastic Still on the carpets garadge kept had only 16,000 US MILES ON IT Round Headlight crome side mirors and one day a old drunk women hit me on the motor way and wrecked it caused it to flip with me inside and roll 6 or 8 times down a hill the back hit a tree and blew out the rear windows and then that slowed me down then went a small creek of water lucky some farmer pulled me out before i drowned. Still have the car today and drives
