i still think we have only scratched the surface with hang gliders. They could be made bigger and faster and able to create more lift i wreckon.

@210482fmj I agree. The America's Cup recently went to catamarans with solid wing main sails made with carbon fiber frames. I wonder if something like that might be useful for hang gliders.

no surprise. The pilot was lucky that during the actual hooked-in flights, the upright(s) didn't collapse...!
