hormones is not gonna make any significant effect on your facial features. You need to undergo plastic surgeries and silicone injections to achieve a softer and more feminine facial features. You should also have your testicles removed if you wanna maximize the effects of hormones otherwise, it has psychological effects. take this as an advice coming from the pro. been on hormones siince I was 14 and had undergone SRS at 27. Congrats. You look pretty. I have a query to all transgender persons. Now this is out of total ignorance, I dont mean you or any other transgender persons the slightest of offense. But in such a case a male to female transition, will the lady be able to conceive? I mean start a family?

@gnmithun The answer to your question is no. SRS (Sex Re-assignment Surgery) can offer a fully functional vagina but not a womb, at least not at this point in time. A trans woman can and would make a wonderful mother to a partner who already has children. I hope this helps to answer your question, and thank you for phrasing your question in a sensitive manner. Congratulations! You look great! You must have a good support group around you. For those who do not, your video logs are helpful and encouraging. Kudos! My only negative is that no one seems to counsel you ladies, pre- or post- op, on clothing and makeup. Stop dressing like you are hiding your body! You are pretty. Clothes can be comfortable and bring out other aspects of character. They can also accent or conceal thru illusion. It is okay to be sexy or stylish in the right outfit. Best wishes!

I transitioned in the early '80s, and there is a big gap in the photographic record, from an awkward and unhappy 17 year old boy to a smiling 22 year old girl. Part of me wishes I had taken some pictures, but at the time I just wanted to get it over with.

High school pictures of me have that "haunted" look too.

I had to wait for a time in my life that I would feel comfortable doing so and I don't think I could have done it a day sooner. Truthfully, I now feel detached from and barely recognize the person in the first two pictures. Hopefully the changes I have experienced will encourage others. ^_^
