loved it loved it loved it!!!...and the music was beautiful! what would have made it even more amazing to watch would have been for the comentators to SHUT UP!!!
Fabulous! Ilia's had an interesting pro career, and it's SO gratifying to see that he's still got it. He set out to mature as a performer, and he's done it. Majestic performance!
Now just watching this program for the 1000th time and it still brought tears to my eyes. I don't know why but it made me think a lot through his skating career, both competing and pro. It really is very thoughtful, not only just beautiful skating. I think he was also telling the story of his own with this performance.
Ilia was the first male skater that I love. And it's just so heartwarming to see him still do this great 11 years after turning pro. This particular performance of "Song for the King" was among his best, and the Korean fans in that arena were so great and lucky.:)
At 00:10, as the music starts, Ilia lets out a smallest sigh, as if to say, "Here we go..." I love that! This is his first time performing in Korea since he was in juniors. And after all these years as a champion and professional skater, he still gets the first night jitters...? If I saw that right, I think that's the kind of way he can maintain his top level and keep fresh about every performance. Amazing Ilia.
I was there. In fact, this is first time i saw him..he is just amazing!!!! llia is wonderful skater..I hope to see him again in korea.(at yuna show! )
what a performance!!! this guy deserves all accolade and adulation. this is something to watch. He skates big and could dwarf other male skater. There might not have been yagudin and plushenko if Illa has stayed on after the olympics.
"Song for the king" what a nice title lol fit perfectly with MJ

From a beautiful boy to a handsome curagous man incredibly athlethic and artistic - a magical skater still with his winning smile. Gotta love him!
