she isnt the master sword! the name of the game is SKYWARD SWORD. She is the skyward sword and she controls Link's flight. Thats why those two pink things are on either side of her. Those are pink WINGS. So she can transform into her wing form and fly link to places. then, she can transform into a sword when link needs her to.

If Link is old in this game he is still the holds the triforce of courage that means that a new Link cannot be reincarnated into a new weilder of the master sword so if he isnt fit to fight in this one that means im thinking something bad if Ganondorf is still alive because the old Link will not be able to fight him. @TheOrangeNinja21 sorry but this game will be much, much different. if you watched the trailer, which came today, it has a lighter, more spirited ring to it. Sadly, that isn't the usual story to Legend of Zelda. The usuals are dark and mysterious. This one looks too bright and cheerful. I don't think i will be getting this game until I see that it has a darker side to it.

I think their next game (not this game) should be a 100% part II for ocarina of time. That was their best game, now majoras mask was fun. Kinda fun with twilight princess. Except no other zelda  has the same feel as ocarina did. Whats with this new story with the wind waker graphics bullshit?

@Peachetts Well he usually is left handed in all Zelda games but with the WiiMote, It makes it easier for people to play. Remember Twilight Princess for the Gamecube: That's the orignal version. The Wii version of Twilight Princess is mirrored. But yes I believe he will be right handed in this game. :)

anyone else notice Link not holding his sword? my theory is that that creature might have something to do with it, like she's really the master sword or something. Just a theory. And the flames in front of link might be some sort of portal. Might be an importan part of the gameplay? And the creature don't seem like it has eyes.

I don't think nintendo is concerned with repetetiveness with Zelda. They JUST released Spirit Tracks, which has hyrule in it, and phantom hourglass didn't. This just shows that they're not hesitant to bringing "old" ideas back from the grave. I'm not saying hyrule is an old idea, it's just that it wasn't in the first game, yet they still brought it back to the sequel in the DS sidequest series.

here's wat i know: the girl in the picture is most likely a reincarnation of the Master Sword because of her initial design and outfit, and te fact that link isnt holding a sword. i also hear rumors that this game is going to be called "Tears of Heaven", but im not sure... nintendo hasnt officially decided a name for it yet, but i can tell... it's probably going to be yet another kickass video game! yes!!! XD

I reckon that this new Zelda game may be delayed, only by a few months, 6 at the most, which is not necessarily a bad thing because it just means they are improving it.

Lets say for arguments sake that its going to come out November/December 2010 then that means this new Zelda will have been in development for 4 years, (Handheld zelda's are made by a different part of Nintendo, hence 2 DS tiles being released) so this should mean that This new Zelda should be as good as if not better than TP

she was in MM, when link returns his ocarina of time from zelda, he got a memory flashback of zelda teaching him the song of time (if that counts) lol

It is questionable if MM even comes after OoT because he learned the Song of Time after Zelda went into hiding. I don't count flashbacks because a) you can't see them at will and b) some of the people in the flashbacks Link can't talk to at will.

ok, i saw this video about link finsging the ocarina when zelda throws it away while escaping from ganondorf. when link retrieves it he DOESNT get a memory flashback, but zelda is talking through the ocarina. in the end of the game, when zelda send him back 7 years after defeating ganon so link can live his lost 7 years, link THEN travels to the town far away. thats where the meory flashback comes from, zelda gave her ocarina so he could use it during his travel. the flashback was a reminder
