Agreed. You have to perfect shield dash the hit, and then they float away and reset spacing. BUT that is only if the samus already doens't have good spacing

yeh i tried it a few days ago, it really sucks. you cant do as much aerials in the air as fast as you do in normal brawl. and i main mario so yeh i hate it

Look, the thing about your Link is, besides looking very fancy, there's not much more to it. You've complained about the Samus match-up being alot worse, when the truth is it isn't. It's just that you don't realize that your Link misses alot of the basics, such as mindgames, dodging and avoiding, powersheilding and stuff like that.

I will admit that he misses some shield attempts, but he still blocks like all of the charge shots, and this matchup is really not as fun as everyone thinks for link XD Xyro has a great samus and he's got mindgames like crazy, which makes shielding effectively much more difficult. Please, just let this go.

If Legan makes it to the losers final of the "Low tier SWF tournament" going on, then we just might be able to. Though, it'll be a wifi match, so i doubt either one of us will be able to take it seriously.

On a side note: Samus and Link go even if the Link knows how to deal with her.

Once again you're just saying things when you dont have any idea of how the matchups truly play out. Yea you can go even with your brother or your friend next door. But what top samus/mk/bowser/marth/ ANYONE have you played? None, you dont know how the characters play at the top level while I do. Samus and link do not go even in the least. If I didnt know the basics of this game such as powershielding and dodging then I wouldnt be placing As well as I do. I 2-0'd this samus in tournament btw.
