  • @Hondaman728 yes I'm 5 3 I went and looked at a 2004 yz 125 the other day and i could barely touch both feet tip toeing but it also depends on how the suspension is set up on the bike

  • im 5'3 would i tip toe on this?

  • How much u paid for that?

  • im 5 2 should i get a yz 125 a ttr 125 or a yz85 have a little experince with a clucth

  • @fabiodidurwife uhh a yz125 is a full size bike so no if u have that little of experience on a clutch go for a ttr125 or a yz85 or crf150r mabey ive been riding a clutch bike for 7 years now and i ride a yz125...

  • Respond to this video... oh and im 6 foot tall riding a yz125 and just flat footed on it but barley

  • hey im 5'8 145lbs would this be a good bike for me?

  • @9619funlife yep. perfect.

  • im 5'5 do u think i should get a yz 85 or 125

  • I have the same bike. my other channel with the bike on it is JABSMotoxChannel456

  • dude thats a super nice bike for an 01

  • Where can you buy a jack like that? I'm looking for a crf250r and I want a jack like that so i don't have to pick it up.

  • nice bike dude just wondering im 5'9 do you think this bike would be good for me

  • nice bike. but easy on the throttle when u start it

  • how much for 2005 yz125?

  • @dingdingdongs1 thats why they make an 85cc

  • sick bike dude

  • @oooMTBMTBooo Thanks :)

  • that bike is MINT and nicee good video

  • @djsm1th Thanks

  • nice bike i have the same year but it blown up so im rebuliding it

  • @dingdingdongs1 your right a 4 stroke will make you lazy.

  • i got one of these too, they are very nice bikes, and handle well too !

  • @yamahaenticer340 Yes they do

  • thats a nice bike

  • @aazz0099z Thanks

  • @thedirtbikerkid mate werd u get it from i love that bike but cant find cheap priced ones

  • @thedirtbikerkid when you gonna upgrade to a yz 250 thats what i got..hell of alot of bike. i wanna get a 450 though...lol

  • people say the yz125 is the same size as the yz250 is that true?

  • @mrkittycat110 oh ok.

  • @dingdingdongs1 ????? i have a rmz 250 and a kx 250! ive had 4 kx 250s!!! look at my vids DUMB ASS.

  • I am 5''7.. is this bike too big for me?

  • what ratio of oil are you using and what oil?

  • @matisaredneck I use Torco GP7 oil and I use a ratio of 40 : 1.

  • @dingdingdongs1 idiot, imm 5.2 and went from a 125 mini 4 stroke to a kx 250-crf250r, get your head out of your ass

  • man i love yz's me and my friend both own 125's mines a 07 his is a 04 love these bikes mines got a chrome resinator running to a fmf powercore 2 pipe idk what his has

  • I dont like yz125 because very slow in the final gears

  • rm 125 is beter than

  • @grandaburro I think the rm 125 is the worst of the 125cc class. I had one and sold it promptly because the yz was so much nicer.

  • @thedirtbikerkid no cr 125 hondas are garbage

  • @thedirtbikerkid /agree. KTM and Yamahas are on the top of the food chain when talking about 2 strokes. Light weight and more powerfull than rm or kx or anyother.

  • @thedirtbikerkid cr125s suck

  • @TheHondaAbuser i love yamahas but CRs definatly dont suck the powerband is alot better and rougher

  • @thedirtbikerkid well, if you own a new one they're nice. if you go around buying used bikes, none will reach their factory potential.

  • @grandaburro yeah, i had a 2004 rm125, couple months later i rode the yz125, next day sold my rm cause it didnt hit nearly as hard as the yz, it was a lot faster

  • @motorfreak12 That's the reason I sold my rm 125

  • im 5'6 and looking for anew dirtbike am i to small for ?

  • where can you get one of those stands? its pretty nice

  • @NnGcorp You can get them at local dirt bike shops or on several sites on the internet. Mine is FMF and you need to assemble it out of the box.

  • @dingdingdongs1 you obviously no nothing bout suspension work and and seat foam cutting.

  • @dingdingdongs1 Thank you. It gets pretty irritating when everyone asks the same question.

  • I have that same stand, its very convenient

  • @Brozillo1 indeed it is.

  • where did you get your graphics?

  • @usernamebmx I don't know where the graphics came from. They came with the bike when I bought it. I believe they are factory fx graphics. If I remember correctly, they have a website that you can make purchases on or you could check out ebay to see if they have anything available.

  • Ok I'm about 5'6, and weigh about 115lbs, would this bike fit me and where should I buy it?

  • @cPiRaTe12 You would probably fit it but it might be a little awkward. You might be a little tippy when you're not moving. I believe the 2002 and newer yz 125's are about an inch lower seat height so I would probably go for a newer one if I were you. Craigslist is a good place to look for a bike if you want to get a pretty good deal on a bike. Yz's are very common so it shouldn't be a problem for you to find one. Good luck finding a nice bike:). Cheers.

  • How tall r u

  • @Peter1115207 In this video, I was about 5'9". I would say that you should be about 5'4" to ride the '01 yz 125. You could probably be shorter than that to ride a newer model. I believe that the seat height of the newer yz 125's is lower than the 2001 model.

  • also i am looking at an 04 model of this bike and do you know what i would have to do to get the 4th gear fixed on it? the guy is selling it for cheap cause the 4th gear is stripped so what would i have to do o fix that? and how much $?

  • @xUnbeatabl3x you would probably have to buy a new clutch kit. I think they're about $100 or so on ebay. I have never needed to change the clutch on my bike so I am probably not the best help to you. If I were you, I would look here on youtube or on google and see how to change a clutch and see if you're capable of doing it before you buy the bike. Just a warning, the seller might be trying to hide more than just a clutch problem. Bring a knowledgable person along when looking to help you.

  • i am like 5'4 and 110lbs. is this bike to big and too much power for me? i also have a xr100r and it isnt powerful enough.

  • sry double post..

  • if you re-paint that frame that will be one sexy ass bike

  • Nice bike it looks like you just got it! Now this guy knows how to take care of a bike!

  • Thanks for the advice, now the only problem is going to be finding a good deal on one. I only got $1200 for my 07 CRF100 and im the only one in the family who loves (or actually gives a crap about motocross) so im gonna have to wait until school ends to get a summer job because most of the dealers around me only have new 2010's for $6090 and that is CRAZY! I can't really risk a used one because if it breaks down Im on my own. So my only option is trying to find a leftover model 2006 or so.

  • Im 16 years old comin up from a CRF100F, im 5' 8" and 115 pounds (i know im a lightweight) would i fit/be able to handle the bike. ive been riding for roughly 3 years.

  • @ghat13 You would definately be able to fit and handle the yz 125. I rode an xr100r for a year before I moved up to the yz. I was about the same size and weight as you are when I started riding it too. I actually kind of wish I bought a yz250 instead. You get used to the power fairly quickly and more power is always better, right? Oh well, the 125 is still very snappy and a very reliable bike. Hope you find a good one. I would definately recommend the yz 125 for you.

  • @thedirtbikerkid hey saw what you wrote there and im coming off an xr100r too ( my cuzns) been riding that for around a year and im getting a yz125 or 250. im 5'8 180+ so think i should go with my gut and get a 250?

  • @thedirtbikerkid saw what you said there and had a question. im 5'8 around 180+ coming of a xr100r ( cuzns) been riding that for a year. wanted a yz125-250 should I go with my gut and get the 250?

  • @TnMud I would go with your gut and get the 250. The 125 is a great bike but you quickly desire more power than the 125 can produce. Hope you find yourself a great bike:)

  • @thedirtbikerkid thanks alot ;)

  • im 5 8 190 pounds just got a yz think its a good bike

  • wow a beautiful bike!

  • @xUnbeatabl3x thanks!

  • im on a crf100f right now. but i want to go up to a yz 125 is this a good bike to move up to i am 5'6

  • @dirtbikeking1234 Yes. The yz 125 would be a good bike to move up to. It's definately a different feel from the crf100f. The two stroke bikes have a lot more power and you better hold on when you hit the powerband. They're really great bikes and I would definately consider the yz 125 for your next bike. Size wise, you should fit the yz just fine. Hope you find a good one.

    Regards, Dave

  • @thedirtbikerkid thanks. helps alot

  • @dirtbikeking1234 anytime. Glad I could help.

  • Hondas suck you have to adjust the jets every 6 weeks or the valves get screwed up... Why the fuck does everyone have my number on an '01 yz 125 like mine???

  • @cursdAtrum27 I have a honda xr100r and that bike was great. The yamaha is a great bike and the reason everybody has the number 27 is simply because that's the best number to put on your bike:)

  • @thedirtbikerkid Y is 27 the best i like 88 on mine

  • honda crf is the way to go

  • @chris12393mylo12392 i like the sound and ride of two strokes more. 4 strokes are too easy to ride and kinda boring

  • wow thats really clean for an 01 nice bike dude

  • Thanks!

  • k mate do u know if u change the tank can u put 04 plastics

  • You can get an oversized tank for the 2001 yz 125. I don't know if 2004 plastics will fit. If they don't fit, you could probably drill new holes to fit the bike, but once again I wouldn't know so be prepared to make mods to the '04 plastics if you already bought them. Cheers!

  • thanks mate

  • how tall r u in the vid im 5'3 " do u think i could ride a 125 i do have ridin experiance because i used to race my kx 65

  • In this vid I was about 5'11''. You probably could ride a 125 but you would probably have to modify the rear shock to sit lower and I hear that it is kind of hard to do. If I were you, I would probably look at a kx 100 because it is between an 85 and a 125 and you wouldn't have to modify anything.

  • alright thanks i really like the bike you keep it real clean :)

  • im 5'4 and i can ride a 450 no prob

  • @TheHondaAbuser damn that looks like it is a little big for you lol but whatever my dad thinks a 125 is too big for me my bro had a cr 125 last summer but i never got a chance to sit on it or ride it

  • how do u keep it so clean?

  • I don't know. I guess I just wash it off every once in a while. I don't just powerwash it off. I go all old school and take the garden hose and rags and I wash every nook and cranny. I think it turns out better that way.

  • Yeah, I had a lot of work done to it. I repacked the silencer, put in a fresh gas/oil mixture, there is an aftermarket cylinder, and there is a fresh top end rebuilt, so it is running like a top.

  • bike sounds really crisp

  • Thanks man, I like yours too.

  • sweet bike man
