one thing though, gt500s are a 5 speed, cobras are 6. cobras can get up to speed faster than the gt500, but will loose top end. now put a KB mamoth on a cobra, run about 15 psi and take of the govener and the cobra will eat the gt500. but to do that you have to drop 6 grand, the gt500 is just fast bone stock. lol

You can pick em up pretty cheap now,had my hands on one but chose to go with the 07 because of the body style.But i still have the option to get a 04 or 03 cobra.

Actually it is stock 320, yes the gt is 300. So stock for stock...the cobra is faster. But in this video the Gt has a KB blower so it prob has roughly 400 hp.

Go on local V6 forums and look for the M112 adapter plate, it can be bought. Unless you're on a built motor that KB or Whipple wont do you any good. The M112 will be more than enough for a stock bottom end

different cars, a gt is sohc, while cobra has dohc. cobra has aluminum block with a steel crankshaft. compression is 9.85:1 on a cobra and pumps 320hp while the gt with iron block and iron crankshaft and a 9.4:1 compression has 260hp a difference of 60 hp. redline on a gt is 5900 rpm while a cobra is 6800 rpm.

the new mustang GT( 05 and more) can waste the 01 cobra anyway, stock to stock, but it can not mess with the 03-04 cobra

uhmmm sorry. No. 01 Cobra's run LOW 13's on average. The 05+ GT's noramlly run mid/high 13's...
Now if it was a 98 Cobra, then Yes. I am dead even with em. Done it a few times now with a 98 CObra.

lol idk if you can keep up with my BMX lol not really. I found a Termi going for under 20K on edmunds. Go check it out. It black and it looks cool. I can't remember if they guy stuck black rims on it but I know he has an x-pipe on it hehe.

Go on local V6 forums and look for the M112 adapter plate, it can be bought. Unless you're on a built motor that KB or Whipple wont do you any good. The M112 will be more than enough for a stock bottom end

yes with the M112 adapter plate bought or created yourself...once u buy it or do your own then u can put an KB or Whipple on your car...just need a built motor for it...look for the M112 Mustang V6 on youtube you'll see them...V6s with the Eaton M112 off a 03/04 Cobra

Thats a nice mustang, looks fast too, but have you raced any 03-04 Terminators? because i got an 07 gt with a cold air and offroad x pipe and i raced my friend who has an 03 terminator and i got my ass kicked bad!!! so i was wondering if you could atleast keep up with them with the Kenne bell supercharger!

The Termis make around 400 rwhp, stock. Free breathing exhaust and some cold air isn't going to keep up with that much power.
A KB 2.6L huffer on an S197 will more than make up for the power deficit between your car and your friends Termi.

different cars, a gt is sohc, while cobra has dohc. cobra has aluminum block with a steel crankshaft. compression is 9.85:1 on a cobra and pumps 320hp while the gt with iron block and iron crankshaft and a 9.4:1 compression has 260hp a difference of 60 hp. redline on a gt is 5900 rpm while a cobra is 6800 rpm.

yeah the new has 300 your right bot a difference of 350 lbs. i got a good vid for this response. i got to upload it. its my bro 07 gt vs my 01 cobra. mine has full bolt ons and gears vs my bro 07 sts turbo mustang. he runs 7lbs of boost and it was close you can see he starts to pull me in at about 125 mph. but 0-110 it was neck to neck
