  • I am 16 years old. Whose getting an easy A in cal 3 in college? This guy.

  • very good stuff

  • Im watching this right before i go to sleep...

  • i didn't understand any of it but then again i haven't done this yet but i have to admit it looked interessting

  • Doing great at getting the best of Youtube.

  • I think this is pretty awesome. I have practically taught myself a large portion of Calculus 2 and this is more challenging than what i have learned. Does anyone know what level class it is in relation to Calc 1, 2, and 3?

  • @MrBanko8

Multivariable Calculus is kind of a Calculus 2.5

There is a Calc 3 but usually that refers to the third course in single variable calculus series.

  • @Reimas64 That is very helpful. Thank you.

  • ..and I will tell you what string theory really is, but now let's go back to polar coordinates.. :D

  • @aceofjohn1 im used to whiteboard + uh those markers...or lecture notes but i had teachers who used chalkboards and i like it too.

  • this is much better than "discovery learning" (as my "teacher" puts it) where you discover for yourself and share the knowledge with your group. teaching yourself and others is retarded when you are paying someone to teach you. have to resort to videos of actual professors teaching, thank god there are some!

  • @anarchris Seriously?! If you have a college professor that's having you learn calculus by "discovery"??

IMHO You should be looking into filing a complaint. There's a reason why everybody doesn't just "know" calculus...it usually requires a professor to teach it to you.

  • The professor really explains the material very well. He's doing much more than just writing on the board.

  • is it possible to find these home exercises somewhere online?

  • I do this shit in my sleep...not really. But really I do

  • @roidz17 your humility is impressive....

  • @WA5CVI Hahahaha thanks

  • why would such an institution still be using whiteboards? all classrooms in my high school have smartboards which are wayy more efficient. you mean to tell me my high school is more advanced than berkeley? i hate whiteboards, theyre filthy and make scratchy annoying noises.

  • @MPyea The smartboards on your high school may be more advanced, but the teachers probably are not!

Also, people "think" in whiteboards, that is math gets a strong kinesthetic dimension. Many mathematicians "feel" the formulas more than they visualize them.

  • this is great i'm not a mathematician or anything but its really interesting stuff. An expensive berkeley class for free :D

  • I watch videos about multivariable calculus! ;D

  • @777BL4d3 so?

  • @Yu2Kal Ummm have you watched the video?

Lecturer makes a joke in it: "Who watches multivariable calculus videos on YouTube anyway?" Sarcastically of course. I simply replied.

  • @777BL4d3 wat are u trying to say??

  • man this would've helped me out for my exam 2 weeks ago

  • this is good stuff
