love these old commercials - but did you ever drink this vile swill??? OMG, you could put it in your furnace and heat your house with it......horrendous, flammable and disgusting. This is how we were brainwashed in the 70s by Madison Ave making us think all the suave cats at Maxwell Plums were drinking this crapjuice.
There is a m&r commercial that was made in the late 60s, It had two hands pouring m&r in a glass and the song went " m&r on the rocks its great" anybody else remember it?
A few years later, Angie Dickinson and her then-husband Burt Bacharach appeared in a M&R ad, with him singing and playing this jingle on his piano, and her purring at the end, "Yeah...".
