I got to meet Hawkeye a couple of weeks after the funeral. And you could tell he still missed his best friend. Poor thing. :(

I`m a cadet here in Wyoming with the sheriffs department. I had a fellow officer and a brother fall in the line of duty while serving. He was the K-9 unit with the sheriffs department. One of the hardest things too watch was the dog barking and howling at the coffin knowing his daddy was right there.
