  • Potential Energy! Wooh!

  • I think the only reason I was ever interested in science was because of this guy. They need more shows like his!

  • im 11 and im loving it makes sense better then my teachers

  • bill nye died.... NO!

  • I love how there was always people working on things in the background... SCIENCE!

  • need this 4 homework, but its too short!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • bill nye is GAY

  • We watched this in Physics XD

  • Bill - "Unless you give it a push or something. *push*"

    Me - "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

    *bowling ball crashes*

  • Bill broke the glass.

  • They should be showing kids this stuff instead of what they show now

  • this should be shown instead of those shitty cartoons these days.

  • "ha!ha!ha!"LOL!!!

  • Because of this great man, I love sciences. Disney should take off that whore hannah montana, and put this back on. They won't because kids these days are so darn stupid.

  • This is how Sikh's power their turbans. With steam.

  • Berkley, CA- Students at University California Berkeley discovered a new renewable energy source that is said to be one hundred times more efficient than ethanol. A professor at UC Berkeley said that they have already made the new compound (C14O2H6) into a liquid form that can be placed into normal combustion engines. The new energy source is being tested at Chevron Gas Stations, and is in mass production currently.

  • Chevron says that they will have this new form of energy into all of their gas stations by June 1. Estimates of the cost of this liquid energy are at $.50/gal. At this low price, the economy is believed to improve tenfold. Chevron and UC Berkeley say that they will give 100% of the profits made from this new energy source to the U.S. Treasury, in hopes to reduce the deficit America is in today.

  • this was on the back to the future cartoon

  • ok so they can burn coal to make steam to run a turbine but they can't make a solar cooker on an industrial scale to make the same steam. And also they can't make a kinetic battery but your cars crankshaft can do 8k rpms for 300,000 miles or more. I saw bill nye on cnn the other day I think he was talking about nuke plants in japan

  • we're just gonna go? we're not gonna rehearse?

  • press 3 again and again lol

  • Haha haha haha lolz!

  • I FUCKING HATE THIS GODDAMN HOMEWORK

  • Hello GSB

  • its a bowling ball...BOWLING BALL. it almost smacked me...SMACKED

  • Bill Nye

    KICKS ASS

    Science FTW !?!?!11

  • I cant believe they replaced this show with the jonas bros >.>

  • I was hoping that Bill would expound on each of the concepts he mentioned here and explain things like why the ball has potential energy when he lifts it up (i.e., define potential energy) and do the same thing for each stage in the process of generating electricity with coal... but alas, it's just a two-minute video. Oh, well...

  • @dpattiris The energy is transferred from potential energy to kinetic energy.

  • try grenade instead of that bowling ball

  • only thing i liked about going to school was watching this

  • BILLBILLBILLBILLBILLBILL BILL NYE THE SCIENCE GUY

  • shows were better in the 90's agreed

  • the terbin is something arabs wear.

  • BILL NYE IS DISNEY?!?!?!? in all the times i've watched this i've never knew that it was Disney! well, well, well you learn something new every day

  • @angryaliens2 Yeah, at EPCOT, they have an attraction called, The Universe of Energy (or something to that affect). And Bill Nye is the narrator in it. Also, in Animal Kingdom, he is in the Dinosaur attraction cue line.

  • @cavaliers60 seriously?!?! that's cool

  • They seriously need to bring this show back.

  • OMG!!

I miss this from last year in my class :(

  • its not crap when its happening right now, as in the polar ice caps r melting, and just the other day I found a huskee in our back yard!(maybe it is one who knows...) So, IT AINT CRAP!!

  • bill nye was the best thing to ever happen to television.

  • Bill shows your potential for understanding energy with his kinetic style, a bowling ball, a piece of glass, and a barbecue. Energy can change from one form to another. Watch as it makes things go, run, and happen.
