Sorry about multipost. My comp wasn't recognizing I'd posted a comment. Also, what we know as the Peace Sign is a "Victory" hand sign in Japan. Mario did the "V for Victory" because he thought he'd land on that first cloud without a hole directly beneath him. The only reason I know of this hand sign meaning is because of the Pokémon Victini, as it always makes that symbol with it's right hand, and I wanted to find out why.

Just so you know, NCS, the flowers you get from enemies that say "Once again!" or "Defense up!" aren't random. The acquisition is random, but each enemy has a certain flower. Flowers dropped by K-9's will always be Once Again, for example. So don't hope for a certain flower when you've already seen that enemy drop one.
