  • Good god what did these poor whales do to endure this? Talk about animal cruelty

  • "I fear thee, Ancient Mariner, I fear thy skinny hand"

What a mariner! Thanks for the chuckles in a hard time to eek out a living. Love ya, Bill.

  • What does Shatner know about whales?

  • Shatner is ALL-KNOWING.

  • "There be whales here"

  • He should have done this in Star Trek IV.

It reminds me of when Carl Sagan did this.

  • I tried to arrange a meeting between Paul Watson & Ann Druyan (Carl Sagan's widow). He was very into it but she couldn't make it.

There's a guy called BlackGuitar1313 who have a video called "What If Powerful Aliens Wanted to "Serve Man"??"

    It makes a good point.

  • Paul Watson, whom i admire very much, has a point, but it's not an either-or proposition. People tend to divide the other life down here from life that might be out there, due to speciesism. We could end up on the bad end of an encounter ala "To Serve Man" or it could go like ET and Free Willy. The bottom line is to treat other animals as we would wish to be treated by more powerful aliens, should they exist.

  • Well done, Mr.Shatner! I'd try some U2 next time. :)

  • To me... you are just so handsome and fun loving.

  • My MAN, w00t

  • "Shatner whale-song... 'I am a big whale'"

Ah ha ha ha ha ha HA! So true. And you didn't even need a mind-meld with Leonard Nimoy to figure it out.

  • this made me feel better about Boston Legal ending :(

  • Ottawagunner

I like the way Boston Legal ended. I'd joked to my husband that Alan and Denny would get married for the series finale and would be last seen at a fishing lodge. I was for the most part right. It opened my eyes to foreign countries snapping up American real estate and businesses. I don't like the US dealing with any countries that so grossly violate human rights and have no clue what freedom is.

  • i loved the ending too

the fact that it ended is sad :(

  • everyone dies in the end you know

  • Did you sing lucy in the sky with diamonds or did they respond to your rocket man?

  • I needed a good laugh today, and this was it! Thanks Bill!

  • Ironically, I just finished watching Star Trek IV... Still love this video from Shatnervision.

    -Caitlin

  • I loved watching the documentary, "How William Shatner Changed the World." It's obviously intended as a 'tongue in cheek' title. I always look for it to come back again on TV. :)

  • Ol'Billy Shatner adding to his legend one step at a time. If anyone hasn't watched it yet you need to see the documentary "How William Shatner Changed the World", bit of an ego stroke for Bill I know, but it does make some very valid points.

  • What does Bill think about whaling?

    I imagine he's against it.

  • I'm certain he's against whaling. He's done a video for the North American Vegetarian Society.

  • rofl+ =P

  • William Shatner never ceases to amaze me :)

  • Shatner....you RULE! Thanks for the laughs.

  • it's good to see star who seems so normal.down to earth

  • Bill Shatner is so fucking cool.

  • I smell a new CD! "Shatner: Animal Kingdom"

  • '...and then, the madness, the frenzy, the boiling blood and the smoking brow, with which, for a thousand lowerings old Ahab has furiously, foamingly chased his prey -- more demon than a man! -- aye, aye! what a forty years!' ...

    Herman Melville

  • If this were anybody else but Shatner...

  • Yes! Its Star Trek 4 all over again. Hopefully this time the Alien Whales don't try to kill us.

  • I remember watching Star Trek 4 at the movies, this reminded me of that too.

  • 'Well hello again Whale, it's James Tiberious Shatner, Captain of the Enterprissssse. Let's do a mind meld, I learned it from Spock Nimoy'

  • Oh thank God. I thought you were going to actually sing there fore a second.

I still have hearing damage from, "Mr Tambourine Man". ;)

  • i'd like to communicate to whales. a regular doctor do alot. not a little.

  • Funny. :)

  • "Admiral, there be whales there!" Shatner can communicate with every life form in the universe!

  • Did Mr. Shatner do the sound effects for 'The Voyage Home'? lol
