@forakif heh i could say a lot about practice times. well, these days i play 2 hours a day whenever i have the time for that, after 2 hours i'm mentally burned out. i've played for 11 years and maybe on average half an hour a day (didn't practice enough before, and there are times you don't practice at all), so i'm at about 2000 hours total, 10000 means mastery (in any skill). constant practice is important, and better more regularly and focused than longer! good luck for your playing =)
Amazing. Bach is my favourite composer, and this piece put a whole new feel to his style. Perfectly played. ************************************ stars
I play mostly from mind and ear. I have some sheetmusic I want to learn, but it's kinda hard because don't know how to read and play the notes. How did you learn? did you just learn the fundamentals or..?
hah thanks! and i guess the tuning evidence is mounting now ^^ it's definitely not the mic in the cam though, recorded it with extra condensator mics.
How recently was it tuned from when you recorded it? It's not the harmonies. It's either the tone (which I'm not used to to) or the notes being out of key. I think it's slightly out of tune get that checked out.
it hasn't been tuned for half a year maybe. maybe it's just slightly out of tune and that adds to the harmonies, i don't notice much in my canzona recording from the same day, but i'm not exactly an expert for hearing.
Yeah, if you constantly play an out of tune piano, you'll get used to it. I'd get it tuned if you have the money, especially considering how well you play. It's a shame that the pianos out of tune.
i think it sounds awesome man!
Keep it up! :D
ps.. i put your version of this song on my ipod

Is your piano in tune? It might be just me, but it sounds warbly.
pookiehohn 2 years ago
hmm.. i think it is more or less. it's probably the funky jazz harmonies and some wrong notes i played ^^
