It was a very graceful preformance! I loved it! The cordination was off a little but other then that it was perfect. I love how there hips moved perfect. I give alot of credit to the teacher for teaching them very well. (:

They were not teachers who came on stage ... this was a STUDENT performance for a KIRIBATI cultural event ... and in KIRIBATI culture it is an honor for people to come on stage while you are performing and spray perfume on you ... it means they are appreciating the dance! Hopefully this explains some of the culture for you.

This was a young student performance ... not professionals.

And they were performing for the Kiribati community ... and in their culture they spray perfume on dancers if they like what they are doing ... which is what they did!

The only Kiribati one was the girl in the middle, she didn't choreograph anything but learnt everything from her teachers and was wearing a different shirt to suit the following performance. Nothing special - she shouldn't have danced with her bangs down though
