It is a great documentary on WW2 and the music just thrilling. However, I find one fact missing, which is a bit sad, the Warsaw Uprising in August 1944 and the Red Army waiting before the Vistula river until the Polish bleed to death fighting Waffen-SS and the city gets completely wiped out of the face of the Earth. When I visited Warsaw, I went to the Museum of the 1944 Uprising. That made me feel real sad. A 3D flight onbard a Liberator plane is something you will never foeget.

Keep in mind that the German army wasn't Nazis. Some of them, yes, but in general, no. Nazis were a political party and an idea. You don't call American soldiers "republicans" or "democrats" just because of their country's ruling political party.

Il y a des erreurs dedans, mais ça reste un bon documentaire, mais la musique est sublime je trouve qu'elle resort bien les moments doulhoureux de cette guerre.

Pour citée une des erreurs du documentaire, c'est quand il dit que les batailles des polonais contre les allemands était d'un autre âge, alors que on sait aujourd'hui que c'était de la propagande allemande car les polonais avait bien des chars et d'autres véhicules militaires et non pas que des chevaux!

The fact that they were even willing to fight,even when the Russians were in their capital city and for the fact that almost everybody in Germany realized that Hitler was leading them to total destruction is very courageous of them. Once The Great Patriotic War started - he took a rifle - and he hasn't been seen afterwards. He died in the Battle of Moscow. Nobody knows whereabouts of his grave.

I thought several times on this. I probably do the same. When an enemy comes in, you have to defend. it's not a macho thing, it's life.
