Anyone knows a kind of warbler that's really loud, black eye and tail with a yellow body. It goes woooo woooo, woooo wooooo, it says wooo wooo in pairs and it pitches from low to high.
what is the bird heard in the background right at the beginning? Like a flutey downward spiral - we hear it all the time, especially in the Laurentians and no one can tell me what it is!
My neighborhood bird community loves listening to all of these recordings. Some of the birds will do fly-bys to try and see where the calls are coming from...I do wonder what they say to ones another...?

There was a bird just like this one at my work today. Flew into a window twice. I rescued it and he is fine. I think he was the cutest little thing!

His song just woke the cats up from their nap.

This bird just flew into my window.
Don't worry, it recovered and flew away.

You can tell by the way he takes down that caterpillar that deep in his genome still lurks the heart of his raptor ancestry from the Jurassic. :-)
