everyone is getting mad at scott speed here for no reason. stenhouse destroyed his championship hopes ON PURPOSE, so stenhouse would have won the championship. scott speed did the right thing here. if you get wrecked by a guy just so the other guy can win the championship, you aren't going to let that guy win it.

ok this is how i view it, i was at the race, the autograph session i met stenhouse he was saying nothing about anything he knew he had to do something. i was at the flagmans stand when everything was going on it was wrong to do something like that to anybody scot was in the autograph session " yo man i got my hat sideways man i love yall man i am acting like a wang yo" i think that they should have dQ him before the race

Stenhouse is the only idiot here, obviously Scott wasn't thinking straight after Stenhouse wrecked him. Yes he was wrong but Stenhouse was more in the wrong because he blatently wrecked scott for no reason, Scott had a reason.

i was at that race sitting at the end grandstand in turn 1. i had a perfect view of speed wrecking stenhouse. to me that seems unsportsmanlike, and i think that they should have fined scott speed.

Speed had every reason to be upset at Stenhouse's overly aggressive move Stenhouse later said he got down onto tracks rumble strips, which got him loose and sent him into Speed

But Speed deserves criticism for how he dealt with it Speed lost his cool and threw away his shot at a championship Speed returned to the track in 31st position but all he needed to do was place in the top 17 to clinch the title Speed blew it, especially considering how the race turned into a crash-fest.

Stenhouse probably thought he could get away with it because he drives for the big NASCAR team in Roush-Fenway. In my opinion he got what he deserved. And Jack Roush can afford to replace an old ARCA car but Eddie Sharp doesn't have that kind of cash to throw around.

I think maybe the only thing Speed could have done differently to win the championship was to just let Stenhouse go by before they made contact the first time (in the first couple laps). The way Stenhouse was driving he probably would have wrecked himself anyway. All in all though, it was very entertaining, and I still give Speed the attaboy for not letting Stenhouse get away with wrecking him.

Good racing. ARCA needs this kind of controversy to get media attention. Speed had his series taken by "bump & run" and chose to do something about it. Stenhouse dished it out and Speed returned the favor. What goes around comes around. Both were at fault.

I was at this race and Speed's car was a piece of junk from the moment they went green. He was holding up the field and Stenhouse gave him a bump-and-run to get by him... typical short track stuff. Not Ricky's fault that Powerthirst Boy couldn't handle the car once it got out of the groove. So Scott has to retaliate by pulling a cheap stunt like that when he's two laps down.

A chump move by a chump driver who failed in F1 and is going to fail in NASCAR with an attitude like he's got.

No, I'm someone that works on an ARCA team and knows the real type of people that Scott Speed and Ricky Stenhouse are. I've known Ricky for a long time and he would NEVER intentionally take someone out. If you watch the replay, Ricky bumped him on the STRAIGHTAWAY and Speed couldnt keep it straight. And Speed probably deserved it because of the chop blocks he was throwing on Ricky.

Speed's fault. He should have moved over to protect his championship when it was obvious he was much slower than stenhouse. Stendhouse tried to pass him clean for 15-20 laps but speed was blocking hard. eventually he got punted, as he should have. I can't wait to see him fail in nascar.
