PLayng two audio clips is not mixing - as in mixing and mastering. Perhaps you should change the name of the video to something like, how to play two clips at the same time in ableton live.
I was thinking I was going to see your MIXING techniques..
Yeah, please make more videos. They're easy to understand. One question though, I'm trying to mix 5-6 audio tracks in one set (30 min around) so I should put all audio tracks lined horizontally in each Audio column and just make sure the beats match or are close to each other so they don't sound garbled when transitioning from one track to another? of course, I should warp the tracks so they go along with the Metronome, correct? Thanks again man!
Um. When you line up all clips horizontally, it's normally mainly for when you are planning on playing those clips at the SAME time. It's the reason why the Session view is so flexible. You can set it up to fit however you'd like them too. Depends on what you're doing.
So yes, you can set them up horizontally, but it really doesn't make a difference unless you PLAN on playing those clips at the same time. In which it would be easiest to set them all up horizontally and launch the "Scene".
I'm a little dizzy but it's still a great video. Thanks.
