@TheOneOwner I wondered that too but don't worry, there is an extra Agumon in this game that also digivolves to Omnimon. The Omnimon that digivolves from Gabumon uses the Garuru Cannon while the Omnimon who digivolves from the extra Agumon uses the Grey Sword ^^

@LordPata I can answer that. Gabumon and Agumon both evolve into Omni mon because of the Movie Storyline. Because they both combined to make it.

@supersaninpikachu Yeah, in this version Impmon even has its own scenary, same with Patamon and Gatomon, not to mention that after Milleniumon in normal difficulty or up if you pass all the game and beat Milleniumon you fight against Zeed Milleniumon.

No T_T Gatomon, Patamon and some more are just in the 1.5 version for the Wonderswam T_T.

That's right, in fact all of the characters except Patamon, Gatomon and the Extra Guilmon appear on the first version but on that one some of them were characters you had to unlock like Willis' Lopmon, the extra Agumon and others.

About the noise at first when the tamers logo appears is a computarized voice saying Matrix Evolution, in the japanese version of Tamer it was a male voice the one saying the words Matrix Evolution and not a Female one like it happened in the dubs.

About Omnimon, there is an extra Agumon who has Omnimon as evolution, about Wormmon be glad he got Imperialdramon Fighter Mode here, unlike the Digimon Rumble Arena 1 game for PS1, there he got just Stingmon for his digivolution.

I know how you feel, it took me quite long to defeat him and more if you lost part of your energy (the small esferes on the top left part of the screen I think that are 8 of them) with Milleniumon, it took me long to find a good strategy till I finally found it with no other than Gatomon, she is faster running so I timed when Milleniumon attacked and then started to run to avoid his attacks, I kept doing that till Calumon appears to then grab him and defeat Milleniumon as mega not losing energy.

by the way how do you unlock tthe extras?

For Impmon pass the game in normal difficult to unlock the mini-game which is on the last option of the main menu, beat the mini game without lose and you will unlock Impmon.

For the Extra Gallantmon you have to pass the game in a hard difficult and get enough points to get the ultimate tag and with that unlock the extra Guilmon who digivolves to Gallantmon Crimson Mode

yeah unlike digimon battle spirit 1 where you had to unlock Willis and Lopmon first in Battle spirit 1.5 all the unlockable characters from the first version became regular characters except Impmon who remained as a unlockable character along an extra Guilmon.

Well you have 15 different characters to use including the secret ones, a second boss which is Zeed Milleniumon, Impmon now digivolves and has his own stage, added Patamon and Gatomon to the playable characters, that mini game which is also included in battle spirit 2

I say this one is by far the best one of the 3 games even if it is just a subversion of the first one.

I wish the same too and about Gatomon well we can say she is the only 01/02 digimon who used two different megaforms, Holydramon in the movie and Ophanimon in this game ^^

Because there is also an extra Agumon with Omegamon as his Megaform, plus if you look at it all the megaforms in this game are humanoid type so MetalGarurumon wouldn't have fit here

I can send it to you if you want, this version didn't made it into the GBA it was released in 2002 just for Bandai's handheld console Wonderswan Color, this version got released after DIMPS and Bandai received lots of feedback wanting Patamon and Gatomon in the game even from inside the companies ^^

I actually owned the sequel. In case you might not know, Dimps was formed by former SNK employees.

The company made games for Sega (the portable Sonic games from Sonic Pocket Adventure to Sonic Rush) and Bandai (Digimon games, DBZ Budokai trilogy) They also did some arcade games for the short-lived Atomiswave: Demolish Fist, and Rumble Fish 1 & 2.

You see in japan after the first Battle Spirit game got released (the one ported to GBA) for Wonderswan Color, Dimps and Bandai got many feedback wanting to give Impmon his evolution, but mostly a lot of the feedback they got even from inside the companies (Dimps mostly) was to add Gatomon and Patamon to the game, so they released Digimon Battle Spirit version 1.5, it has a lot of things like a second boss namely Zeed Milleniumon, it's a shame this version didn't came to america.

So... Cherubimon and Omegamon are starting characters, but BlackWarGreymon has to be unlocked? Strange, but cool. I noticed that there was no sign Dukemon Crimson mode in the opening... He must be a well hidden character. Even Beelzebumon Blast mode made a breif appearance.

Actually on this version BlackWarGreymon is a normal playable character too, the unlockables on version 1.5 are again Impmon now able to digivolve to Beelzemon Blaster Mode and an extra Guilmon who digivolves to Gallantmon Crimson Mode

Yeah but for this game they decided to use humanoid like megaforms, Veemon for example digivolves to Imperialdramon Paladin Mode while Wormmon digivolves to Imperialdramon Fighter Mode, I guess this was because in humanoid forms they have more variety of attacks ^_^
