Quesiton regarding the infinite mode: I heard that if you hold down "Infinite" that if you play anything over it, you'll only get dry signal. What if I used an onboard delay/reverb on my marshall MG series amp...will it still be dry? or will my onboard FX still cut through? I know it's probably a dumb question, but I'd really like to know before I buy. (plus I'm new at pedals lol.)
@Lachy101 if you purchase it locally the power adaptor should be rated as compatible for 240V 50hz. If you purchase it from america you will most likely need to buy another adaptor locally as the US current is 110V 60hz.
You an get 110-240V adaptors but you should take into account that using such adaptors may not be recommended for audio applications as it may induce noise and hum(not sure about "noise" actually).
This has 8 presets to save to yeh? The big question for me is can you swap between those presets with your feet or at least swap between 2 (as i can see there is 2 actual buttons) thanks, Jake
Man, I love the bit at :17 -- the ability to sustain an input signal while while playing over the top like that. Always wished I could control my old delay pedals that way, letting the repeats decay naturally after turning the pedal back off. This pedal sounds great, and would inspire some cool ideas. Think I need to snag this...
the Cathedral doesn't loop. the Stereo Memory Man which looks awfully similar to this does though. the Cathedral was holding the last reverbed note (the player was holding the infinite switch down to keep the note playing)
@Passitivity because your digital reverb pedal sounds plastic and grainy and condenses all of your organic guitar tone into a digitized/processed version of yourself.
er, I do have a life. and a job. and it's to sell music gear. and this pedal sounds really digital and granulated. I'm not dissing his playing, just how the pedal sounds. It's got some cool functions, though.
eh not quite. Plus these ehx pedals dont have a regular "volume" knob that increases and reduces the gain of the pedal. It has a "blend" knob which acts sort of like the the level on a parallel fx loop. Keep blend at half, and half of your signal is processed, and the other half is completely untouched.
Dude, the reverse reverb alone make's it worth it, the fact that it's also a vibrato, flanger, and delay, and oh yeah REVERB is just icing on an already diabetic cake....like when I'm jamming with my buddys, as soon as I kick it in their like, Woah, it just takes a solo to a higher dimension of space and time ^_^
try the reverse on single note melodies or vocals. tool's reflection and a lot of gentle giant songs use it on vocals and it sounds just awsome, a little bizzare, but out of this world.
Thanks for this demo! Way more interesting, to me, than the other one. And thanks for complying! It was good to hear the Infinite mode! Digital isn't a bad word, but too many companies do it lazily. Electro Harmonix is an exception.
