really nice, but why the hooked upbows all over the place? i highly doubt that that's how it was meant to be played, though you do a good job of playing it in this unnecessarily difficult way!
@vlnvlaclogbaerhpno yes, that is the way it was meant to be played, its barroque music, therefore its Locatelli, a Prodigy child. His music is extremally hard to play in the violin and as you can see on the Cello. This " Hooked upbows" that u call its known as "Staccato Volant" or The "Gettato" or "Flying Staccato" a very usual bow Technique in the barroque period...
A sonata, that should be more famous with no doubt..Excellent played, for me, and the staccato is amazingly well-balanced in both directions!Very nice in any ways!
Ah .. I remember that my teacher wanted the suonassi examination of the tenth year but I scels the 6 ° sonata Boccherini. Locatelli is really beautiful and that the teacher performs in a very correct ... I like.non is usually virtuosista who wants to put rsalto only his technique. should also always accompanied by harpsichord! but with the piano. even with a positive organ(orgel) should be fine ... or a spinet.
Amazing !!! You are not just a great cellist but an exceptionally wise and erudite one too [for not sounding "romantic"]... i enjoy ur locatelli piece very much.... tnx for posting !!! :>
Great piece. What's interesting is that the bowings are not original. All of the up bow staccato was Piatti's idea.
