  • My dad had the record we listen to it over and over . Thanks

  • What memories this brings back, They don't make them like this anymore

  • I tell you one thing that I am very happy to see. There are so many young people that are listening to music like this again. I hope that they encourage their children to also listen to it to help keep music like this around for a long, long time.

I can not stand that Rap Crap and don't even consider it music.

  • Beautiful song, great singer (Johnny Horton)--another gorgeous video,

  • @laceymeagan *songs*

  • I'm almost 21 and this song speaks volumes to me, as I've felt some of these same emotions. MUCH more beautiful than many modern pop/rock "love" songs!

Wish Johnny Horton hadn't have died so young; he probably would have turned out more tear-jerkers like this! I also like "Whispering Pines" and "The Mansion You Stole."

  • @JuDGe369 Johnny Horton is def one of my fav classical country artists. I love whispering pines too. Impressive though how it gets introduced to our modern culture and how we can find enjoyable even over our modern music.

  • Although Johnny Horton was known for his historical themed songs, he also had so many just like this one, that were so beautiful.

  • i listen to this and im 16... i think thats more than 2 generations

  • love :)

  • who can do better. how many songs survives two generations. Yes only few.
