Hi can you put for me in a comment the backing trak link? thanks a lot Seb! you 're a very god guitarist ...Great touch!!! answer my please put me the link on this mail:
hey seb! great cover bud! really like the gilmourish sound. any way i just wanted to ask what amp your using ... mesa? im trying to find one to buy but it would be good getting a users opinion! do you use justa single stack or speaker with separate amp? are there any effects built in im not keen on a million wires going to pedals and what not! anyway if you could get ack to me that would be stellar!
what kind of guitar is that/(i know that it's an ibanez) and are th eelectronics very good, cause someone i know has in ibanez acoustic electric adn the electronics keep going out on it, he's on his second one, cause ibanez gave him a reimbersement for is first one's failure, and the second one just went out too.
Hey, can you email me the backing track of this? That was awesome!! I'd appreciate it, if you got the tablature that'd be great as well. Awesome channel!
Great solo and playing dude! And also great rig, how does that Boogie sound? I would like to change my Marshall JCM900 and get something more "american" sounding, your guy just sounds awesome! And where did you get the backing track? Is that coming from Guitar Pro or something? Cheers
@falcionz Cheers Rik! Youtube wont let me put the link to the backing track in a comment so i'll email it to you. I've not tried the JCM900, but the stiletto is supposed to be mesa boogies take on an english amp. I went out to buy a hughes and kettner switchblade and came back with the boogie! Definately worth trying it out if your looking for a new amp, i still really like it.
@pasterofmupets The actual problem is finding one around here, but i've just come home from a shop were i had the chance to check out a Bogner Alchemist combo with my Musicman Jp and sounded really cool! Also it's very interesting cause it has built in delay and channel voicings...Must find a Boogie so i can decide lol
@falcionz hey dude try the mesa lonestar type in andy timmons xotic bb preamp thats him demoing the amp with and without the pedal very sweet amp! I am picking one up soon
is there any kind of way to start off playing like this kinda stuff,, like soloing instead of playing chords n shit, because i was wanting just to play stuff like joe satriana, obviously not as brilliant as him but i mean like just start off on the scales ? and get better over time
@UkCrooksy Well if you want to play crazy solo's and stuff like that, then just learn lost of scales and practice them constantly. You'll start building up speed and endurance and you'll see an improvment in your playing if you practice lots.
Everything was just perfect man! How old are you ? I'm 15 and I'm trying to learn it.. but in the meanwhile I uploaded a cover of me playing "the count of tuscany " which is also by Petrucci, check it out if you got the time!
Yeh i think it is. There is a lot of great stuff on there... whatever sort of style or technique you want to learn, theres videos on there which you'll be able to start with and work up from. If you can put in the practice it will definately help you to get better.
@pasterofmupets What sort of stuff is there on that site that will help me play faster? I always watch your vids and they always make me want to pick up my guitar and play :)
Serious! You got some amazing skills on the guitar man. And the quality of your equipment isn't sloppy at all, and really doesn't come cheap. Either your parrents are swimming in money or you do some serious work! :D
wow amazing playing man.. if in a long time im half as good as u i will be happy, and i dont know how this vid has got 20 dislikes :) also awesome guitar :)
Hi - I run a music site promoting the best new music talent, and just thought I'd let you know we featured your video on 13-10-09! All the best with your music!
Seb you wrote in your channel that you use a microphone for recording your recent videos, so i guess you you just record it and filming it at the same time? hmm.. can you explain how you doing it cuz i want to start recording in myself and i have no idea what will be better: with a soundcard like the pod you had or with a microphone.. what is your opinion?
@lotem102 hey lotem102, yeh thats right, i record the audio and the video at the same time so what you see in the video is actually me playing there. basically for this video i put a microphone in front of the amp and record the audio through the souncard using cubase. i then have the backing track and the recorded audio in good quality on the pc which i make into a single file.
@pasterofmupets i import that file into windows movie maker and join up the recorded sound with the recorded video. i hope that makes sense.... id say an amp to me sounds better than the pod as it does sound more sort of real but the pod is a cheaper and for what it is and the price is great. hope thats answered your question mate.
wow man this is awesome u were really an inspiration i saw ur first few videos and made me wanna play and ive been playin alsmost two years great job man
I enjoy watching your vids, it gives me a bit of inspiration to my own guitar play :D
- I can't stop wondering how you have become so good the few years you have played? Have you got any tips to keep becoming better and better, except keep playing? keep up the good work!
Ok, it's getting annoying that no one checks in the DESCRIPTION. THAT'S WHERE HIS SETUP IS. I see these types of comments EVERYWHERE. I'm getting sick and tired of them. I know it's not MY video, but still, it gets annoying to read them.
@FlamingGuitar14 well ya but no point making a fuss ur not his lover.... :S but yeah his set up is sweet only thing i have similar is a original cry wah but im not sure if his has a switch cause my just turns on wants u rock it.... but anyway nicee tone... tone is everything
u do awesome in all yr videos and im jw with all the guitars u have whenever uve gotten them have u ever experienced problems with fret buzz or anything any problems?if so what did u do did u fix them yrself or did u take to a professional? thx
Thanks darthmanful. About the guitars, when they're new they never particularly set up how i like. Generally i find the action is a bit high, but i sort it out myself. The manuals that came with the ibanez's have all the info ive needed to make any changes. I have had fret buzz when ive lowered the strigns to much but you just raise em back up a bit!
@pasterofmupets Hey Seb! :) ( hope it's alright to call you that :P ) i was just hoping you could help me out on a question, do your ibanez guitars ever go out of tune when you use the whammy bar? i have the exact same jem as you and i've had a trem setter fitted to stop it going out of tune, yet if i use the tremelo bar at all it goes out of tune, i want a joe satriani guitar soon but im worried about having the same problems, have you ever had this? and incredible cover mate :) thanks anyway
@dktpain,Haha this song is by dream theatre and John petrucci does this solo, not Hendrix. If u already knew that, hey, I'm just saying. Nice playing, pasterofmupets. U really know how to put feeling into your music. Great playing, man.
man u r extremely good... but u should learn to use ur "pinky" finger... it allows speed as well... u r really good but I think that is a good advice for u to keep improving!! nice work!
I noticed your taste changes over the course of your videos, and you are now leaning more towards instrumental rock (which I can only appreciate even more, since it's my favorite genre).
