I always preferred singing rather than screaming. That's why I like Iron Maiden more than Judas Priest by a very long mile. I still like Judas Priest though. And actually, I personally believe Nicko McBrain is better than the Priest drummer. Have you seen how fast his foot can go? That's unnatural...
