  • Not gonna lie, the intro noise reminds me of jamela hero editor for D2 BIGTIME..

  • 1080pHD! HOLY Shit! xDDD

  • LOVI'n this

  • FAVORITE SONG

  • All time favorite song.. Greatest Album

  • sometimes dimmu borgir sounds slightly better when i'm fisting myself

  • @ffreplica515 Well, kinda don't see how fist in your anus can improve quality of audio production...

  • i dont understand why ppl go on about religion just cause he sings about satanic stuff dont mean he believes it or that he worships Satan

lets face it megadeth sing about extreme things so do slayer and metallica and so do about 9million other bands dont mean u have to go and do what the lyrics say

its all about the music if u dnt like it dont troll all over it

  • @jwe986 Shagrath IS a Satanist, thus worships Satan. Idk about the rest but I know Shagrath said he is a Satanist....But the point of this comment is to agree with you that everyone is an idiot for arguing about religion on Youtube.....

  • Death Cult Armageddon is my favorite album.

  • only a fan of sacriligeous scorn. the rest don't quite appeal because of the melody. not bitching, just trying to quickly get it off my chest. now for those people ranting on about them being satanic.....so what? im christian and i listen to this because they sound surreal and there are only a couple of bands who can pull off metal mixed with symphony and opera. stop complaining about the band. don't listen to em then. simple as that.

  • this song needs 666 likes B)

  • This song is so fucking sexy, I'd strip to it!

  • @SqueezyCheetah Using Satanic lyrics reference doesn't mean that the band is satanic. And, after all, you don't have to judge someone to his trust... :/

  • i love this song

  • great album but bad production :(

  • @TheRealCadaver oh believe me bees attack me when they see me, probably because i leave my house with honey in my pocket. i don't know why i have it but i may need it one day.

  • @SqueezyCheetah I think you need to get out of the house more often.

  • @TheRealCadaver I'm alergic to bees and it's spring time, do the math.

  • @TheRealCadaver I definitely think dimmu borgir is satan`s favorite band that`s why i listen to it until my ears are bleeding :)))) lol

  • @TheRealCadaver hahahaha true story

  • @SqueezyCheetah I think it's just music. It IS possible for music to have a theme, yet not at all be related to the views of the person(s) involved. It's not "satanic", just "anti-religious". There's a nice difference there. Also, by your logic, I'd say Satan has good tastes in music.

  • @SqueezyCheetah hell ya!

  • @SqueezyCheetah Satan has better taste in music than you.

  • @SqueezyCheetah there is so much more satanic bands:)

  • @SqueezyCheetah

Silly troll, tricks are for... SATAN, THE DEVIL HIMSELF WALKS THE EARTH! GOD HELP US ALL!

  • you are misguided, if "satan" is the bringer of light then what would your "god" be the bringer of death, poverty, apathy, hypocrisy? oh noes the boogey man cometh.

  • @Xen5s Lucifer indeed means "Bringer of the Light". And just count how many people in Bible actually killed Satan and how many killed God....

  • @SqueezyCheetah I don't think they're genuine satanists. A lot of metal bands have satanic lyrics, but usually it's all in good fun. No one's trying to offend anyone, just have a bit of fantastical fun by screwing around with taboo subjects

  • @xombimonkey Exactly, people take this shit way too seriously.

  • @SqueezyCheetah trust me dude. satan himself doesn't like this sort of music. he created it, remember? he's more than likely to like hymns played on harps or something.......and no-one asked you to convert or put a gun to your head, don't watch this video or listen to their music if it bothers you so much. have a nice day.

  • @SqueezyCheetah First of all i have been listening to Dimmu for about 5-6 Years and i know them like 7 years ... and he refers to Hitler... and Satanism in Black Metal is choreography , yes there are some "Real" satanic bands but most of them are doing it so they can piss off Christians ...

  • @SqueezyCheetah Listening to satanic music doesn't make you satanic............It's just common sense.

  • @mothman258 this isn't satanic music though, it is preaching quiet the opposite. A satanist believes in both God and Satan and chooses to worship Satan. Dimmu borgir writes about the hypocrisy and contradiction the bible and religion is. They do not believe in either god or the devil lol. Unless you were referring to what a Christians calls satanic, which is anything and everything against their own personal views of sin. In that case you could call this satanic.

  • @ThorTheOdinSon I did use it like that but i really don't think this is satanic. I don't care really. I just call it music to my ears.

  • @mothman258 haha tru tru

  • @SqueezyCheetah that's ridiculous!

  • @SqueezyCheetah Satan would probably love it, if he DID, in fact, exist.

  • @SqueezyCheetah

Deal with it, everyone has their own musical taste. Don't be a music elitist or assume you have to convert by listening to this amazing music. Just enjoy the artistic value of the masterpiece.

  • @SqueezyCheetah In yet another song, "Gateways", the lyrics revolve around being your own master; living your life according to what YOU believe while not adhering to anyone else's idea of what you "should" and "should not" be. Which, really, is at the core of Satanism.

In that sense, yes, they're satanic. But they're not "satanic" in the way you're implying. They're using it as more of an idea than an actual belief system. Satan as a symbol of liberation rather than a devil-horned gargoyle.

  • @SqueezyCheetah Shut up Christian go turn the other cheek on someone pissing on you

  • @SqueezyCheetah I won´t write a stupid comment about hating other people that thinks different from you or me, just going to say, have respect for us, our way of thinking and life, just as most of us do.

  • @SqueezyCheetah Theres are no satan and god just though you should know that! Dimmu borgir is just a awesome band, nothing religious with it. Sure it may have some moments he is saying " i am the bringer of light" and all that but that is to make the music more badass.

  • @SqueezyCheetah

well you arent that right, cause if they'd be satanic they would agree to religion so they just make a fool of christanity playing "satan" in some songs and videos, just look the sacreligious scorn video

  • @SqueezyCheetah Glad you dont like it, but we do.

  • @SqueezyCheetah ma questo che cazzo si è fumato? ahahahahah

  • @SqueezyCheetah : Shinto?

In Shinto even the concept of something like Satan doesnt even exist.

If you a real Shinto from japanese Origin and not some in fact christian Kid who like to play samurai and wannabejapanese, let me explain something - in europe we once had some religious concepts that are very near to shinto, the concept of a living nature full of holy spirits, ghosts and gods.

than christianity comes and destroys everything our ancestors know.

    understand?

  • @vonStahlhelm

The satan concept was actually a rip-off of certain pre-existing deities with a connection to the chaos and cthonic. You could say satan was a made up character based on Loki and Enki and that Jesus was a character based on the cults of Bacchus and Mithras.

  • @vonStahlhelm It's music dudes. Just enjoy it.

  • @SqueezyCheetah I am 12 and as much as I know this band writes songs about hypocrisy, about how the religion try to manipulate with us etc...Its not satanic, but it is Epic.If i am wrong, then tell me whats wrong -.-

  • @lucko1999 They are Satnanic. The singer is, atleast. :) But yes, Epic.

  • @ZaarBloodletter666 Like I give a shit about religion -.-

    xD

  • @ZaarBloodletter666 All hail the Satnanny!

  • @Minurath XD

  • @SqueezyCheetah What the fuck is your problem?

There is no god. There is no satan. Dimmu Borgir is epic.

  • @SqueezyCheetah listen im a christian and i like this music gtfo find a life stop arguing about religion i listen to music cuz its good and cuz i think the lyricvs r gud if u dont like them then fuck off and go listen to justin beiber you fag

  • @SqueezyCheetah Bringer of Light is not Satan, but Lucifer. Satan and Lucifer are two different "guys"

  • @SqueezyCheetah fuck off christian soul !!!

  • @SqueezyCheetah music is music, just sounds put together to form a badass song, if u dont like it then why even bother coming to a vid u know u wont like? thats retarded and illadvised if i may say so myself, just please stop bashing music u dont like and go back to ur justin beiber bull shit or whatever the fuck u listen to, thanks m8

  • @SqueezyCheetah Did it really take you this long finding out they got anti-christian contents in their lyrics?

  • @SqueezyCheetah

Dude, you really need to learn more.Members of the band are Christian, atheist, etc. Religion has no part in this. Its just bad ass music. I for one follow pieces of the Satanic Bible. Satan is not a real being, but alludes to those things that are considered immoral, taboo, etc. If you dislike this, dont comment, or better yet, just dont watch it.

  • @TheDuvalMilitia

There is for sure no Christian members in Dimmu Borgir.

And religion very much do have a part in this song, since the entire lyric is about anti-theism. Something which most DB-songs are about, at least before Abrahadabra.

  • @SinglemSolis I couldve sworn one of the guitarists was catholic. and i remember some of this stuff from an interview. I can try to find it, i could be mistaken, but if you want Ill try to find it,

  • @TheDuvalMilitia

Silenoz writes almost all the lyrics to Dimmu Borgir, and if you read and understand the lyrics to the new album he seems to follow Thelema, just like Behemoth and some other bands.

Galder on the other hand has another project called Old Man's Child, in which he writes both lyrics and music, and his lyrics are also very anti-theistic.

  • @SinglemSolis

ahh, well thank you for telling me.

  • @TheDuvalMilitia You are thinking of Slayer, mate. Their lead singer(Tom Araya) is Catholic, yet their songs are very dark and satanic.

  • @ProudAtheist90

    ah, ok, thank you!

  • @SqueezyCheetah why is it so bad that this band is satanic? its just music, i listen to this band, yet i still attend catholic church every sunday

  • @SqueezyCheetah

Lucifer is the light bringer not Satan.

  • nice job . great quality . thanks

  • This one toghether with vredesbyrd and sorgens kammer 2 are the best :)

  • @7Martin77 I completely fucking agree! I saw 'em recently, and they played Vredesbyrd; needless to say I went apeshit. I would have went super saiyen apeshit if they played Sorgens and this one.

  • the best song of this album
