I like this sequel and not just because they filmed this in my country. Although I keep wondering which castle they used.
The thing that cracks me up is that if you look at the filmography of the actor playing the butler on IMDB, it's a mile long. He was a very famous Hungarian actor. :D
@Nightbreed24 Thanks for sharing that. I love this movie and have loved it since 1991. I would like to see a making of the movie or real photos of the filming locations in Hungary. Can you recognize the cemetery and the hotel in the movie? Hungary looks like a cool country to visit.
@anglekan Well the hotel is in Budapest, I can tell because of the bridge and Heroes Square. The castle I wasn't sure about so I did a little snooping around and I'm pretty sure it's Visegrád Castle - which I visited on a field trip in elementary school once. It's been a long time since I've seen Howling V and have never noticed it, but a guy on a foum says, that the bus passes a location marker with Visegrád on it.
This is the SCARIEST Howling movie next to the original. I'm not joking. This movie has got major creepy atmosphere and "less is more" terror. It creeps me out. Part 7 ties 4 through 6 together. Only advantage of that one.
@compsciguy I don't hate the movie, and I agree about the creepy atmosphere, but the cover really pisses,me off! I mean I was expecting something more hardcore like the original, but instead I get like a atmosphereic murder mystery. It wasn't bad though, but why mislead people like that?
great Tune and great chorus...i wonder if theres a soundtrack available? liked the creepy Castle Setting, my favorite howling movie next to the first :)
This is oine of the better movies in rthe Howling series. Parts 1 3 4 and 6 were classic to! part 2 was...daft. Part 7 New Moon Rising I think it is is just bad...complete crap! Pat 5 rules!
Richard: "Even today the local peasants blame any mysterious disappearance on werewolves"
I always found that line odd since "peasant" is a very outdated term and most "lower-class" people would find it offensive lol

This was a surprisingly enjoyable movie, considering how awful IV was. They did the '10 Little Indians' formula to perfection.

I cannot find this movie anywhere! I haven't seen it since I was a little kid; I wish someone would upload it like they did Howling III.

And thank you for sharing, pizzaeater9.
