Well, first off this is by far one of the best songs recorded by Audioslave. One of my absolute favorites. So I was very reluctant to listen to a cover to this amazing song. But WOW man! You got it covered babe! You sound right on, I dont know much about guitars and all that stuff, but I have a good ear for GOOD musical talent. You have it. So keep practicing and you will be the next Tommy Morello!! (you're not bad on the eyes either ; ) Good Luck babe...
cheers man, yeah i know its cuz im using a .96 tortex pick, and im that close to the camera, if i turn the stereo and amp up any louder then it just distorts to much and it sounds like fuck all.
i record me playin' with my cam but i don't use the audio from my camera mic. i set up another mic close to the amp and play with headphones on. i'll link you to a vid or two featuring what i'm talking about. now, i'm not saying you should do what i do, i want you to do what you wanna do. it's just a suggestion.

cheers man. well there's no whammy pedal used in this song at all. i read an interview from tom on Guitar World and he said he used whammy bar scoops whilst hammering on the notes to create the intro etc. as for the solo i broke it down into 3 sections. and used the idea of the runs Tom uses in the live version of shadow on the sun and worked them into an E scale.

cheers friend. i just practice triplets like mad. use a metronome and gradually build your speed. Tom has a youtube video that he made with guitar world and he does a lesson on chop builders, check it out and get those fingers going.
