Great movie, great video, great actress in Miss Natalie Wood. The melancholy tone of this version of Everything's Coming Up Roses, though, sadly reminds us of her early passing and the complications of her personal life, as compared to her sublime acting career.

Natalie had talent, one of the few child stars that made it big. I can still remember the news story on her passing ,and I was stunned ! Natalie, you are missed. Lovely tribute to one of Hollywood's real stars.

I agree. Many of the great stars are cheated out of roles on stage. Look at Julie andrews. She totally should have been eliza in the movie but Audree Hepburn got it (Audree felt really bad according to Julies Memoirs). I also think they shld have made a movie of Evita in the early eightees with patti lupone as eva.

@Selendomono -- However the year Audrey Hepburn starred in the movie MY FAIR LADY, the Oscar went to Julie Andrews for MARY POPPINS. In fact it was Julie's B'way performance in MFL that got her discovered by Disney for MP.

there was no star as beautiful as natalie. she was especially beautiful in this film of the great broadway musical. i love roz russell but this was mermans great role of mamma rose and she was cheated out of her chance to preserve her great preformance on screen . what a shame. steveo coconut creek south florida
