  • More ReFrederator!

  • ASBESTOS

  • the best cartoons are from the 30's

  • I might have shot out an art studio too if I had to draw a belly button all day. I cracked up at that.

Oldies=the bomb diggety. FRED IT THE MASTER OF DISASTER! (in the cool way, not like the New Orleans way)

  • A lot of sexist content. :p

  • It's from the '30's. That was considered status quo.

  • Hehe gotta love the oldies! (always nice and violent) And I love the chaos too

  • im posting this because some sgt damient want me to post something

  • Let's have a moment of silence for the two people who got shot in the face.

  • For some reason I expect the "Fairly Odd Parents" theme after the Frederator incorporated logo after the cartoons.

  • I love seeing things like this, especially from you, it's just further proof that you not some modern idiotic cartoon makers, you know your stuff, and even though I knew that before, seeing this stuff form you just makes me know it better ;)

    *looks left and right*

Long live Betty Boop! ...and the insanity that surrounds her o.O

  • xD, dont tell me you made that whole cartoon yourself :P

  • Asbestos?

  • well that positively sucked.

  • Ah man this is great! Thanks Frederator! You guys make my day with these old toons! ^-^

    Mata mite ne!

  • WONDERFUL.

    THANKS.

  • i love how one of the guys is just throwing away everything he draws...

    lol

    NO!

    YES!

    NO!

    YES!

    NO!

    YES!

    NONONONONONONONONONONONONO XDDD

lol that's why you tie down the victim to the log too silly villian!

  • Vintage-tastic! 8D

  • I wish I had a rag-time band play while I animated.

  • The awesomeness is just too awesome! Re-FREDERATOR! (and of course FREDERATOR too) Whoot Whoo!

  • that was awesome!!

  • I really liked it for a change.. but I swear to God if you ever do it again I'm going to shoot somebody

  • OMG! These used to come on the Captain Kangaroo show along with Our Gang. Back when the TV didn't come with a remote! They were OLD then, now they're REALLY old. And i'm not that old. Whoa.

  • Ahh! Cartoon violence!

  • he just shot the villain in the face!

  • Huh, animators animating animated animators animating...

  • Asbestos

  • Lol!!!!!

  • Holy crap, they shot the conductor!

  • i had no idea mice made great pencil sharpeners.

  • I agree. Less backpatting, please. Otherwise, keep the Re-Freds coming.

I'd never seen a villain with a hypnotic saxophone until this presentation.

  • HAHAHAHAHA!!!

    X^D

The originals are always the best as I say...

    Bravo!

    Nice!

    I love it!

    Well some parts were okay...

    Quiet right!

  • They are teaching kids that capping another person's head with a pistol at point blank range is ok.

  • haha. the animation studio I work for dosen't have a camera that walks around in a jaunty manner unfortunatly.

Thank you for putting this old cartoons out for people to see. they are fun to watch and important to the history of the artform.

  • They dont make cartoons like they used to. Now, they are all predictable and unoriginal. These were the golden years of cartoons, up until the 80's, maybe the 90's. Kids of today dont know what they are not getting out of their cartoons.

  • Frederator is the best thing on the interweb

  • You know, this is how I always figured old cartoons were made...a room full of weirdos all doing every action three times in a row. Personally, I want one of those self-developing walking movie cameras.

  • i cant believe i had to watch :48 of shout outs.

    FRED= EPIC FAIL!

  • classic memories...You bring out the young in me

  • bring on the classics!

  • Such elegance in simplicity! Glad to have found your channel. I popped a bowl of pop corn just for this feature! Sweet. Blessings... E!

  • OMG! It's been years since I've watched this very cartoon! Keep it up, Sir Fred!

  • There's no school like the old school. I bet that this couldn't be shown on TV today.

  • No, to much "violence". Sheesh, rules these days...

  • ah the good old vintage cartoons :)

    they are really great.

I will be sitting and watching 2 DVD's of Mickey Mouse in Black and White tonight :P

  • i wonder if frederator has an orchestra play in the background as the weekly cartoons are made, like they have in this vid?

    haha!

  • I thought they were made in a sweatshop!?!?

  • Thanks SO much for puttting this up!!! I LOVE the old cartoons!!!! <3 You Frederator!!! 5 stars!!! :D

  • Hahahaha! That was very diffrent! I like the way they show how they make cartoons, that was fun! Also, pencil sharpener mouse? Convenient, eh?

  • ummmmmmmmmmmm.....................

  • These make me feel young again! :D

  • I LOVE THE OLDIES!!!!!

  • A real message of hope! Frederator has reminded us that cats, dogs, mice, hippos, and pigs can work together in harmony....right up until the part where they shot the conductor.

  • Man...I wish I had a big band playing while I made cartoons...

  • Classics never get old, they just get retro and retro is always awesome!

  • OMG This Reminds Me Of Popye The Salior And Mickey Mouse And That Owl "I Like To Singa"

And Stuff! Man The Old Days Are The Bomb!

  • i love that little owl guy so much! wow! you brought back a great memory!

  • Ty for making my day happy!

  • WOOT I <3 YOU CHANNEL FREDOERATOR~

    You rock my socks~

  • I've been looking to learn how to animate. From this, animating looks not only hard, but dangerous too. Did you catch the gun play in the artist's studio? I'm having second thoughts now.

  • that was absolutely perfect

    so funny, I loved it

I haven't seen most of the comics you show, like never even knew they existed, so thanks so much :D

    "Asbestos" what was that?

  • i also animate on the traditional way in partial education. It is really hard indeed.

  • ...Asbestos?

  • Dang, I've always wanted to be an animator. This just shows me how difficult it'll be!

  • NOW IT ALL MAKES SENSE!

  • that was great!...thanks

  • wait ... asbestos? what was that?

  • i think it's an old saying for credits/cast

  • i think it was the company that made the cartoon in th cartoon otherwise its stuff they put in the wall to keep in heat but too may many people died cause it was poisonous so they stopped using it

  • quite good how they show a cartoon is made

  • what? i thought it was a portrayal of Nazi work camps during WWII.

  • isnt it funny how funny looking looped animations kept us entertained...me like

    THANKS FREDERATOR!!!

  • go fred!

  • I also have a mouse that sharpens my pencils.

  • Dude, portions of that were so dirty! Rockin!

  • Ah... the good old days, when you simply tied a lady to a beam in a sawmill, after she laid down your marriage proposal.

  • I love these cartoons they are amazing great work.

  • lol jnice to bring back the oldies :)

might even be fun for the small ones :P

  • omg, THE FREDERATOR? I love fairly odd parents!

  • 3:03 reminds me school violence ):D

  • lol omg me too!

  • ASBESTOS!?

  • Yeah, that was a common gag in old cartoons...theaters used to have asbestos curtains behind the cloth ones to keep backstage fires from spreading. There were a lot of bad theater fires in earlier times. Of course, they hadn't yet figured out that the curtains could knock off the audience as well (not to mention those who hung them).

  • Yay Frederator!!!

Always there to put a smile on my face with cartoons new and old. ^^

    You rock!

  • good thing frederator brings these magnificent creations back to the public's attention. these are the cartoons that really matter. GO FRED

  • haha!funny

  • i love how every cartoon romance back then had something to do with kidnapping and some how sawing the girl in half.

Not to mention the American fixation on evil people having facial hair.

  • omg im the 100 person to view great vid!!!! i loved! it!

  • "Channel Frederator <3s you!"

We love you guys even more! xD

  • note to self: need a victrola to add sound

  • so when your a animator in the 30s a live jazz band plays for you ... awsome

  • love them cartoon

  • First view!!

I love the part where the girl and the guy are walking through the corridor with that music.

I guess cartoon studios are a lot different from when they were back then.

  • I love you channel frederator!

    Keep up the good work!

  • lmfao!

  • these are my fav! i love these so much!
