Why doesn't boxer upgrade? He has so much excess money and is such a great player but I can't figure out why in these long macro games he doesn't use ups.. they are so useful, especially in a mirror match.

@AJ4710 If they're no cloaked you just have to find the ghost but if they are you have to use the satellite upgrade option from the terran base that makes that yellow radar thing show up 12:30 is a good example.

im kinda sad that boxer isnt very good at sc2. I'm noticing that boxer doesnt tech very fast. He's getting thor'd like every game. and when the opponent has thors, boxer only has tanks and marauders. I wish when boxer made his debut into sc2, he just pulled out some crazy strategies, but looks like he's still got some learning to do.

Even though Jinro is going toe for toe with BoxeR, i feel sorry for him because mostly everyone is behind BoxeR... and so am I..

The scariest thought is that BoxeR hasn't really played much SC2 and is able to keep up pretty well. Imagine BoxeR in a few months time of practice!

this game looks more like an experiment than an actual competition match. it seems Boxer is trying to adapt BW style to SC2; in particular, he's testing units to spot for his tanks. he went through turrets first, then vikings, and even marauders.

i'd like to see if he can fine tune it into a competition level strategy. it'll make for more interesting tvt matches

The great thing about Boxer is not that he's such a great SC2 player because he isn't; it's the established fact that he is able to learn and grow in his technique far faster than most other players. This gives him the edge to out-play most other just because of his imba learning curve ^__^

I don't understand why Jinro scans right over his nukes. I understand he needs vision, but it is so easy to spot if they scan right where they are nuking. I guess you can argue that he was just using them to make Boxer move back but he didn't move in afterward. If he had those nukes going at the front line and in the mineral line (or on those 9001 supply depots in boxer's base) with medivacs to get them there he could have done some serious damage. Boxer doesn't have detection everywhere.

siege tanks actually do damage faster when unsieged to armored targets. You only want to seige for range or splash, so if its a solo thor he should of left the front tanks unsieged.
