At that time I was lucky enough to see The Exploited, GBH and The Lookouts; who all were excellent, but I felt that against me was speaking to a reality that was more current to MY life, and they still do...

HONESTLY, i've given it a fair chance, but New Wave just isn't a great record. It's not bad, but next to any previous Against Me release it just pales into nothing. Searching.. is my personal favourite, although i really do love all their stuff. But that one was a truly fucking FANTASTIC, life changing album and where were these Spin morons then? Why wasn't that their album of the year in 05? Where were they back when Cowboy was released or R.A.R? Probably digging the latest Nickleback cd..
