First of all I'd like to say that you are BRILLIANT and simply must continue your acting :)
As well as this, I have an audition this week and I'd love to have the role of Toad's! The audition lines are the ones when he gives his soliloquies in prison. I'm confused! Do I act it out as if I am terribly grouchy or as if I am going insane after 20 years and depressed! I would love to have your advice! :)
toat is a gift of a part. but then ratty is such a beautiful delciate character. torn between his love of home and the river bank with his sense of adventure and exploration.
i used to watch the really old film when i was a kid and watched the 90's movie of it a few weeks ago and was thing what a good theatre proformance this would make especially 4 children! looked like fun. well done
Hi thanks for the kind comment. the stage stayed pretty much the same throughout but somethings changed. in the train scene big wanted posters of back toad were put up. there were signs for rattys house, and toad hall and the platform used regularly. the very back of the stage had different flats that changed throughout. the big tree downstage revolved and had badgers house and later the jail inside. so it did change quite a bit but subtly.
