Thank you - and good luck with your own work on the piece. My arrangement was not actually written down - I only made reference to a recording and my 'fakebook'.
wow! you are so amazing! I grew up listening to Julio Iglesias as a kid. I love the way you play this song. this is one of my favorites! wow~~~ thank you!
Thank you! It is a while since I did this and the other Iglesias pieces - I have recently returned to 'classical' repertoire. However, maybe I should do some more of his songs this winter!
Music which comes from the soul goes straight to the soul. Never, have I been more touched by this beautiful Latin Ballad. Your sensitivity and artistry did, indeed, nourish my soul. Thank you
Phillip, this couldn't be lovelier! I must direct a few friends who follow a beautiful Greek pianist, composer, teacher named Ifigenia Katika. (her channel is her name without the space) She often plays music with this dreamy, lyrical quality. Thank you for bringing so much beauty into so many lives here on YT as you do elsewhere, I know. ~Terry
Thanks for your kind comment. I have played piano a long time, and can learn all but very difficult music pretty quickly. I have built video-making into my practice routine!
to ronpolla: that's all the 'point' - there is not much difference which piece you take and improvise on it. It is what you are doing with it that matters. Couperin himself took popular 'materials' from his own era and 'pushed' them up by his own artistic means.
GOD I love love love love this!!!

You made my day, thank you.
I'm started to learn (an easier version) this piece myself and wanted to listen to it, but your arrangement was beyond my expectations!

How can you play so many pieces? You have over 600 videos! And it's beautiful, as always.

Beautiful piano-version.

Thank you! I always try to think when I play - if Liszt were alive today, what material would he be working on?
PSearPianist 2 years ago
Amazing how you can play with the same feeling and depth François Couperin or Julio Iglesias.
Bravo!

Thank you. It's all music of sorts and had Couperin been alive today, I'm sure he would have tried Latin repertoire on his harpsichord!
