This would be unreal if you could mount the LCD BacPac on one and the Battery BacPac on the other and shoot 3D for longer with a viewfinder!

I was completely impressed until 14:25. China...really!!!! So every time somebody purchases a Go Pro, we give our money to China a further dig our country into a financial hole. How bout hire some Americans to build your cameras so we can keep our revenue in our own country.

@pouncey007 Cool idea, except when the finished product ends up costing twice as much as it currently does! And then it won`t sell against it`s (Chinese made) competitors like the Contour HD. EVERYthing is made in China and the Far East nowadays. In 10 or 15 years the cost of having these made in China will rise as the workers in the assembly plants living standards rise and they demand higher wages. Production will then move to another country that promises cheap production cost!

nice 3d kit for 1000$ , but a little more complicated for majority people , better use single camcorder with 2 lenses and 1 SD card and have 1 single 3d file and transfer directly on hard drive or watch directly on 3dtv , than use 2 separate camcorder + 2 Sd memory card + wire synchronization + 2 x 2d files on separate Sd card + use a special software to make together in 1 file ...

@BrainLapseFilms Let me clarify -- HD GoPro cameras are great. The image quality is fantastic, they're small, light and they serve a great purpose for extreme sports. This is all true. But - when it comes to shooting 3D - they SUCK. You can't control the inter-occular, convergence, alignment, etc. Anybody that know anything about shooting 3D knows what I'm talking about.

We, at stereoscopynews, are using the GoPro HD Hero on a 3D rig for some 18 months and it is really amazing. We can't sleep as long as Fedex has not yet delivered our freshly ordered 3D HERO kit....
