  • We saw a shark similar to this when we descended to 30 ft in same area, I nearly crapped my wetsuit because thought it was a bullshark checking us out.

  • While not an everyday occurance, Sevengill sharks are seen quite frequently along the Southern California Coast in and close to the kelp. In fact, the next day I filmed another one off the same dive spot. They're beautiful creatures and your always thrilled when you come across one patrolling the bottom.

  • Wow! You are probably one of the few divers to see one.

  • @m0abb They seem to be quite frequent visitors to San Diego waters and many divers have had similar encounters with these beautiful creatures.
