Don't be silly. Muse intros and outros are much better than the three bands you've mentioned. If you've seen them live and seen their amazing endings to songs and amazing beginnings, you'd know what I mean.

the guitarist is using a fuzz factory and some kind of delay and a phaser. I reckon the bass player uses a bigg muff if he had the money for it, but Im terrible at bass effects so I wouldn't know.
