  • All ex Southern units on the one train and ex MoPac (no dynamic brakes) units on the other train.

  • There was a caboose on the NS train, not seen in a long time.

  • I saw some rare BNSF locomotives on a NS train wb toward Knoxville from Asheville in Morristown,TN the other day.

  • What kind of horn is on the train

  • This sounds like it was filmed at the interlocking at the Puzzle. Or am I way off?

The last car to make it across the crossing was a 1988 Mazda 323 SE. I had one for years until some bimbo wrecked it for me. I miss that car. :( Anyway, that might help to give an idea as to an approximate earliest date of this film.

Heh. UP engines still sound the same.

  • wozers

  • woah I wasnt even born yet:)

  • :)

No worries, I was somewhere around the 10 year old range.

  • Wow this is OLD. Can tell by the southern and the 'cars' I didnt know NS had GP30's though.

  • Yup, somewhere around 87-90 I'd guess.

  • Ya great job on this video! It was great I love the high nose GP30s for NS and Southern! Love the MoPac too. They are running one of the last MP work cabooses on the Adams Turn, way up here in Winona MN.

  • Nice man Nice!

I know what you mean man, it makes me sick to my stomach to see UP and BNSF power always on the NS or CSX.

Good to see some old GP30's in NS and SOU paint and Also a MOpac sd40-2 is not that bad eather.

  • Thanks. I'm glad to know I'm not the only ont that feels this way. It used to be a treat to see one due to the rarity. Now it almost seems common place.

I was wondering if someone would notice the MoPac.

    Thanks!
