I have a 1998 cobra as well an i suggest that if you do a gear swap dont do 4.30's. thats what mine has and its just to much for it and 3.73's or even 4.10's are perfect for them

There was no 09 Cobra, the closest thing to a Cobra in 09 was a GT500 and that motor definitely does not have a 10:1 CR

I am about to take my 98 GT swap to a 98 Cobra motor then put a turbo on it. I wanted the 04 on it but cant afford it I am getting a good deal on the motor 1700.00 114k miles

Dude that's a terrible deal. All you're keeping out of that is the block crank and heads, you can buy those separately for WAY cheaper than 1700.

Sounds to me like it needs a better exhaust, maybe Borla withan O/R X pipe, I guess the 0-60 is average, I mean we don't even know if the car has cheater slicks.

Regardless nice car, I'm a pround owner of a 2004 Cobra with a Kenne Bell 2.2. I wish I saw more of these ars on the street, I see nothing but hondas and integra's with HUGE wings.

99s don't have 320 hp stock. thats whythey recalled them, they had defective heads on the right side(driversside) maybe 270hp.

well if you drive your car a lot then get 4:10's but if its just a weekend car i'd get some 4:30's. nitto and bfg make good drag radials.

I think so, 99 SVTs are stock at 320 HP. You'll have alot of fun with that. Slap on a Supercharger you'll have 500 easy. SVTs are great.
