To block adds you have to right click on them and chose block from the bottom of the menu. It will give a choice of just blocking the image or block the frame - Block the frame on the YT ad. Dont go too crazy with it or thumbnails from some videos will start disappearing. Never figured how to unscrew that one aside from reinstall FF.

I use flash block also on the cheap vegas show on the front page disappears.

Obama has been on record in favor of a robust public option via the 3 state town hall meetings, joint session speech to congress, and event with AARP online backing the public option. I love the chemistry between Cenk and Ben too! I actually agree with Ben about the politics around the health care bill. I think Ben's analysis is a bit more nuanced than Cenk's. It seems to me that Obama, being a politician, wants to come out on the winning side no matter what, so that's why he's willing to allow the public option to be dropped from the bill, if he thinks it wouldn't get up. This may be despicable, but this is politics. And politics is all about compromise and appearances.

It has to have alot of people in it to have a large diverse pool to distribute risk and lower prices the most, and also a large pool to negotiate best with all parts of medical industry.

A weak option will have too few people allowed to enter it for it to save the most money.

Here is why Cenk is right and Ben is wrong: If Obama position/tactics on healthcare were just about political reality and building a long-term Democratic rule, then he would push the strong public option bill and let the Republicans fillibuster. Republicans would look like fools and would enrage the citicenry while tens of thousands of people die each year. Then Grayson comes on cable news everyday and says, "110 people died today while Republicans read the phonebook."

a philibuster doesnt over rule a majority...its just a stall. In the senate a senator is allowed to talk for as long as they want on any criticisms they have. Therefore they just make a huge list of short arguments and just blab. Its a stall.

Filibusters are procedural ways of stopping bills by wasting time and delaying, whenever the bill comes up for debate the person filibustering will talk until the clock runs out and as a vote cannot be taken until all the debate is heard it will be killed to avoid time wasting and to let other senate business to occur.

The filibuster requires the senator to waffle for hours on end, some have gone as far as reading out of a phone book just to waste debate time.
