This Game reminds me of Ghost Recon but on a much larger scale. Cod fanboys can love their game all they want. Flashpoint is an out of the bowl experience and not an arena map gaming style.

The Chinese in game is just normal Chinese, and they don't talk like that in the army. For instance, when reporting coordinates they use special pronunciations of 0,1and 7 so that the receiving end will immediately know it's an army guy talking.

Even the trees are all the same. Look at them, they're just resized and rotated, but they're the same model over and over. Codemasters ruined the OFP name, no wonder BIS didn't want them to use 2 in the name to imply it was a sequel.
your supposed to use the dots when tring to hit a running target you line him up with one of the dots when hes running. I did it and it gave me a lot of head shots on moving targets
i never played this game but am thinking of getting it because it seems like its way more realistic than mw2 and bc2. But are all the players real online players or are some computers? because it seems a little odd that real players would just crawl on the ground while taking constant fire.
@mattzjimenez it can be some ai and some real players, i dont recommend this game i had it to the xbox and it was quite annoying, in the campaign there were no check points so if you and your whole team died and it was a long mission you restart the whole mission, so i recommend bc2
@mattzjimenez Get ArmA 2 instead if your PC can take it, it's a MUCH better game. Just know that it isn't a run and gun shooter like CoD or BC2, it's a more methodical and tactical game that's based more on reality, and as such is a slower pace with a large learning curve, it's not for everyone. But if you're after something more realistic then that's the only thing out there right now beyond buying pro sim software or joining up for real.

It's realistic, I'll give it that. Bleedouts, bullet trajectories and sniping, no scopin is impossible and the radio/comms system, but the AI isn't great. Otherwise, a good, but slow paced game.

i never played this game but am thinking of getting it because it seems like its way more realistic than mw2 and bc2. But are all the players real online players or are some computers? because it seems a little odd that real players would just crawl on the ground while taking constant fire.

@mattzjimenez it can be some ai and some real players, i dont recommend this game i had it to the xbox and it was quite annoying, in the campaign there were no check points so if you and your whole team died and it was a long mission you restart the whole mission, so i recommend bc2

@mattzjimenez Get ArmA 2 instead if your PC can take it, it's a MUCH better game. Just know that it isn't a run and gun shooter like CoD or BC2, it's a more methodical and tactical game that's based more on reality, and as such is a slower pace with a large learning curve, it's not for everyone. But if you're after something more realistic then that's the only thing out there right now beyond buying pro sim software or joining up for real.

@julianleeho when you get to pick who you want to be before you spawn press well it depends what platform your on I'm on xbox 360 so for me it's b but any others I'm not sure anyway then you can pick a squad to be in well I sure fucked up that exsplination.

OGU are probably the most active clan on DR now.

what a noob! i would rape you 1v1 on any map anytime on flashpoint! you can hit a target with that sniper from 1500m why do you need to be 70m to your enemy to get the cr ap shot out of you? And by the way your shooting targets from 200m away and using main crosshair! there are dots below the main crosshair! add every 200m for 1 dot in distance! noob! if you want that 1v1 quote utube and add sgt777williams

It's realistic, I'll give it that. Bleedouts, bullet trajectories and sniping, no scopin is impossible and the radio/comms system, but the AI isn't great. Otherwise, a good, but slow paced game.
